Accordion Folder 2 binder with colored tab dividers a plastic/vinyl take home folder #2 Ticonderoga or Dixon yellow pencils 2 packages of wide ruled loose leaf paper 1 marble notebook 4 dry erase markers and 2 highlighters old sock Elmers white glue and a glue stick Scissors a box of 24 crayons,colored pencils, and markers Hand held eraser *flash cards (+,-,x, to practice at home)
please monitor your childs supplies throughout the year and replace consumable materials as necessary

The following heading should be used on all homework papers and handouts. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILDS PAPERS UNTIL HE/SHE GETS USED TO THIS!

TESTING DATES!
The following dates are important testing dates. Please avoid scheduling doctor/dentist/ortho appointments on these dates.
Cognitive Abilities tests-September 16,19, and 20 NYS ELA assessments (reading, writing, listening)-April 17 and 18* NYS math assessments April 23 and 24 IOWA- TBA
In addition, weekly spelling tests are given on Friday mornings. All other tests and quizzes will be announced a week in advance, so look in the planner often! Thank you for your cooperation. *Tuesday after spring break

Social Studies
