1. To construct and implemented the systems were stated by ICT Strategic Planning; PALM and Perfoma
2. To restructure the IT division to be as the main task in the department with having a proper plan, system, strategies, policy and leader. 3. To encouraged staffs and clients to using computer as a tool in landscape work and to implemented e-perolehan in landscape development.. 4. The existing system which developed by vendor for landscape data base was not function as per required 5. Not any to own a policy and strategies as direction for IT Division.

Why? Causes of the issue 1 2 3 4 5 IT division was a New division was set-up by the department 2 years ago ICT issue was Control by ministry (bureau) not by department. Lack of the specialist and experience on the ICT policies and strategies making The number of staff work on ICT was not enough The scope of work for IT division just not deal with ICT but they have to do another work for department (out of IT work scope). What to do ? Solution

Get approval and permission from the boss and ministry Take survey of reorganization planning of department To give form the ICT committee as project members and iT division as project manager Transfer knowledge and skills obtained from the course in OIC to the selected project member Take a survey of current status of policies and strategies in ministry and check document. Take survey of other organization policies and strategies as a best practice Do seminar or workshop to make out policies and strategies Get permission from ministry for implemented Implemented the policies and strategies to the organization and supervise Review and correction
