 Over-the-month hiring was concentrated in administrative and support services,
especially employment services.
 Financial Activities (+12,600)
 Overall sector employment decreased over the month as losses in real estate and
rental and leasing overshadowed gains in finance and insurance.
 Health & Education (+8,600)
 Increases primarily due to seasonal back-to-school activity
 Leisure & Hospitality (+8,100)
 Gains in most component industries, with gains strongest in accommodation and
food services.
