Sales & Profit Performance


During the financial year 2010-11, on a standalone basis, the Company

revenues stood at Rs. 6794.50 crores registering a huge growth of 33.8% over the previous year.
The Company derives its revenue from three segments viz software,

infrastructure, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services. Among the three segments, revenues from infra services have registered highest growth rate of 53.3%.
Revenues from US geography have grown by 32.5%,Europe by 28.7%,

India by 67% and rest of the world by 47.7%.


The company operating profit has increased to Rs 1225.0 crores in

fiscal 2011 from Rs 1082.40 Crores in 2010, increase of 13.2%


The company net profit has increased to Rs 1198.3.0 crores in fiscal

2011 from Rs 1056.60 Crores in 2010, increase of 13.4%

Current Position of the company


HCL Technologies, the countrys fourth largest

software exporter, expects emerging geographies like Korea, Vietnam and Indonesia to contribute 20% to its total revenues in the next five years. At present, the emerging geographies contribute around 16% to the companys overall revenues. In emerging markets, the deal sizes that the company is looking at are between $5-10 million, spanning across 3-5 years.
