VISION
Vision statements are future oriented. It defines the
organizations desired future outcome vision for the future. The vision statement is created with the customers need in mind. To determine these needs one must ask and listen to the customer. Example of a Vision statement of a regional hospital - ( a vision is defined as an image of the future we seek to create). Statement: To be the regions provider of high quality health care services.
EXAMPLE OF A VISION
Vision statement of B.H. hospital. To become the centre of excellence in patient care .
MISSION
A mission is defined as purpose for being defined
simply as who we are and what we do. Mission identifies the organizations customers and the types of services offered such as education, supportive nursing care, rehabilitation, acute care, home care etc. It enacts the vision statement.
