 Intersection of two given sets A and B refers to a

set of elements common to set A and set B
 Denoted A ∩ B
 Expressed in set builder form as

A ∩ B = { x : x ∈ A and x ∈ B }

Eg:
Let A = { 1,3,5,7 }
B = { 2,3,5,6 }
A ∩ B = { 3,5 }
Elements 3 and 5 are common to both A and B

Eg:
