As shown in the above table, the family of Mr. A is
oomposed of 5 members, nuolear, and praotioes an
egalitarian authority. Both of them deoide for the family
espeoially in health oare matters.
0riginally, the house where they are residing is
owned by the father of Mr. A whioh makes their looation
patrilooal. Lventually, they inherited the house when
Mr. A's father died. 1he oompound where their house is
situated is also inhabited by their relatives, henoe, their
family has a olose relationship with their neighborhood.
Mr. A is the breadwinner of the family while Mrs. B
stays at home to take oare of their 3 ohildren.

1he ohildren have a oloser relationship with the
mother sinoe their father is sometimes away from home
beoause of his job, 1he three ohildren are also olose to
eaoh other beoause they are studying in the same sohool,
they walk together in going to sohool and going baok
home from sohool. 1hey only have time to bond with their
father during 3undays that is why Mr. A, every 3unday,
oherishes his time wisely with his wife and ohildren
realizing that the ohildren are being muoh oloser to their
mother oompared to him. Mr. A also observed that his
wife is getting tired of taking oare of their ohildren and
waiting for his return eaoh night from work oonsequently,
being the breadwinner of the family he works harder and
perseveres in his job to provide for their family's needs.

Mr. A is the breadwinner of the family. e works
as a oargo man, leaves the house at 6:00 in the
morning and returns home at 9:00 in the evening.
Mrs. B also helps in gaining extra inoome through hog
raising and selling its meat.
Approximately, their average monthly inoome is in the
range of P10, 000- P12, 000 with a daily inoome of
P200-P300.

Based on our ooular observation and interview,
they have a small living spaoe, the kitohen faoility is
outside the house and they are using oharooal as
souroe of fire for oooking. 1heir house is made up of
mixed materials, oonorete flooring and wooden walls,
and roof made up of ,ero. 1heir baokyard is quite
muddy and has an open drainage whioh is a potential
breeding site of veotors that oould lead to diseases
thereby posing health risks to their family their
manner of garbage disposal is through oompost pit
whioh is susoeptible for aooident hazards and
unsanitary environment.

1hey have a slightly oongested neighborhood
having their neighbors just a few steps away from their
house. No strife is present between them and their
neighbors and almost most of them are their family
relative that is why the family has a strong bond with
their neighborhood.
