From the very beginning you should understand that what is Known now a England was an inhabitant place

before humans began to think that this area of land can actually be suitable for living

The first people to settle in that island were the Celts Those Celts were divided into two main groups Britons Gaels

Later were referred as Celts

Later were referred as Scots

Celts had Druids whom are a class of priests Druids at that time memorized heroic poems Unfortunately their was no written language so hardly some of the literature of that time survived to nowadays

From the history of Romans, trying to invade island of Britain ,we can figure out a lesson in life

Never give & keep trying over & over

In the beginning Romans under the command of Julius Caesar tried to invade island of Britain but he failed to take over the country as Celts were strong (Although he hastily claimed victory)

Later Romans formed a stronger army led by emperor Claudius and succeeded in converting England into Roman Province

Romans left island of Britain to defend their country & with a simple equation
No central government

No army

An easy target for invaders

Soon Angles , Saxons & jutes invaded the island Celts were driven to the west , the north & across the English Channel to an area in France became known as Brittany The island became Known as Angle-land or England

New language became the home language of people that is Known now as Old English

The Christianity began to spread through England during that era Monasteries were built and became centers of literary , Artistic & social activity For education Monastic scholars imported books which were copied by hand

The early literature was in the form of epic poems praising the deeds of heroes Those poems reflected the reality of their life that was brutal In great mead galls , they would gather to listen to scops whom are professional poets singing epic &lyric poems that are much shorter
Those poems were a history lessons telling people how a true hero should behave

Unfortunately those poems were :

so only a fraction of Anglo-Saxon poetry has survived

Soon a group named Vikings who were from Norway & Denmark invaded England They killed people , destroyed entire villages& threatened to erase all traces of cultural refinement They finally were defeated by Alfred the Great Alfred made English(common language) the main language rather than the Latin(language of books) During his era Anglo-Saxon`s chronicle the first historical record in English Language was made

My father once promised me to attend the parents day in my school for the first time but when that day came he didn`t show up , I kept waiting until it ended but he didn`t come , I was greatly disappointed that I decided to avoid talking to him and to ignore him , and when I get home I was so angry that I had a fight with any person who dared to talk to me and that was what happened to William.

Edward the confessor promised William the duke of Normandy to make him the king after him but when Edward died a council of nobles chose an English king Harold William got angry , he led an army to island of Britain Harold was killed and William was crowned as the king of England

William ,who was powerful & well-organized, determined to exert his authority down to smallest detail
He made an extra ordinary tax record of every bit of property owned He brought law & order to the land

He introduced the Feudal system to England that say that every premise in the land is owned by the king but the church was the only exception that there was always conflicts between it & the king

After William`s death , England was in a state of near-anarchy where there was no ruler until his grandson Henry II took over the throne
he reformed the judicial system. His wife Eleanor brought to England the concept of chivalry that is a code that tells how a Knight behave & presented courtly love where lords and ladies gather to be entertained

Richard the lion-Hearted Henry`s son succeeded him but his brother John during his absence took over the throne .
But King John was so cruel that he was the villain of many stories of that time Later he was forced to sign a Magna Carta that limited kings authority by granting more powers to the barons
