Recruitment And Selection

The Process of recruitment in this company is something different then the other company, when they want to recruit new employee in the company at that time they give advertisement in all popular news papers like Gujarat Samachar, Divyabhaskar, Sandesh etc... it is depend upon the type of recruitment..

When company requires a manager level person at that time company gives advertisement in the Rajasthan and Maharashtras news papers and also popular business related magazines and popular English news papers like Times of India, Indian Management etc.... in now a days company also use data from some websites like Naukari.com, Monster.com etc. When company requires workers at that time give advertisement in the local news papers. Company also does contracts with the worker providing agencies.

The Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd. also does internal recruitment in the organization when some position in vacant at that time company recruit some internal persons for that vacancy, company does its recruitment in many ways like by contract with employment agencies, by communicating with ITI institute for technical personals, by contract with security agencies for security persons.

The company gives first preference to the employees who is comes from rural area to give the opportunity to the employees who are unemployed. They arrange many types of test like written test, oral test, medical test, physical ability test etc... for selection of their employee. If company wants to achieve more and more goals in the future then company has to select the right person as employee in the organization who has ability to perform that job effectively. As the future growth of the organization is depend on the personals of the organization, therefore the personal department of the company must be highly active.

Training And Development

This company is also giving training related to other topic which can help employee in his work, his self and also to company like computer training, training for use of company AN network, effective maintenance, leadership, optimum utilization of power etc... In specific cases of technical employee company also give specific job training like after treatment plant training, power plant training and boiler operating training to respective employee.

Promotion And Transfer Policy

Merit based promotion means in this system management observe the performance of employee and make rating on it.

When the organization has no need of any employee in the particular department at that time management will transfer that employee in the other department where the employee is required. In this company the trade union is not exits because this company recruit employee directly from outside environment and there is a good industrial relations developed between the organization and workers. There are not major grievances become in the company. The main reason for establishment of trade union is grievances between employees and organization. Thus, in the company there is no trade union present and it is beneficial to the company.
