HR Management System: Overview


WHAT IS HR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM? HR Management System for MTS, Patna is the project that deals with an effective management of employees, not only important from organization point of view but also for an all round development of the employee.

PROJECT OBJECTIVE
HR management system captures all the vital information (Official / Non-official) of an employee working in an organization.

If there is computerization of HR management system , current information of each and every employee will be available and outputs can be taken in desired formats.

Various reports are available for the better management of the available resources and the manpower of the organization can be utilized in an efficient way.

The computerization of any organization brings a harmony between its various departments by synchronizing them and thereby increasing its total output.

System Interfaces
Login Module: The HR personnel are required to log into the system to view his past entries or enter new ones. It consists of one interface for logging in. Establishment Module: This Area Deals with of total the

Appointments Module: This Area Deals when an employee is appointed, name, identification number and all the relevant information is stored in the database.

Salary Package Module: This is used to keep record of compensation or Salary package for each appointment. It can be further extended to get monthly pay-slips. User can view compensation package for each appointment.

Biodata Module: This area deals in creating new record for an employee and records details like fathers name, Birth-date etc. It also allows taking desired outputs for the employee.

Courses Module: Under this the user can enter data on completion of training/refresher course, specialized

course/seminar etc. The data includes the course contents, date of completion, performance etc.

User Interfaces
Form A form in the system is one interface page or one screen. Different forms may comprise an System. Switching from one screen to another is equivalent to switching from one form to the other. Radio Buttons:- They are used to select a particular option from a group of options such as selecting the type of complaints or selecting a complaint to be seen. Check Boxes:- They are used to select more than one option from a group of options Popup and Message Box: - They are used to show information, error or warning messages during interaction with the System.

Action Buttons:- These are used to select different options during interface interaction like new, save, modify, delete, close etc. Navigation Buttons:- These are used to move to the first, last, previous and next page. Text boxes for input:- Forms consisting of edit fields and custom lists are used to take input from user. Picture Box:- These are used for inserting pictures, logos etc. Date Time Picker-It is used for selecting the date. Rich Text Box-This control is used for entering text with no limitations.

CONCLUSION
The successful completion of this project results in the effective management of employees. Every single data related to any of the employee is present Deals with total manpower/department establishment / post creation of the organization. It deals when an employee is appointed, name, identification number and all the relevant information is stored in the database. This is used to keep record of compensation or Salary package for each appointment. It can be further extended to get monthly payslips. User can view compensation package for each appointment.

Leave accounting is a major responsibility of HR system. Proper Leave accounting is necessary. It deals with the entry and output of confidential Report data per year. Deals in finding and retrieving the users request. Thus, overall process is efficient, fast and easy. management
