Models of Organisation

What is a knowledge-intensive organization? An organization where the majority of the employees are highly educated, where the "production" does not consist of goods or services but complex non-standardized problem-solving. The main distinguishing features of the production are: y Non-standardization yKnowledge Intensive Creativity y High dependence on individuals Organisation y Complex problem-solving

A business process or an industry that requires large amount of money and other financial resources to produce goods or services. A business is considered capital intensive based on the ratio of the capital required to the amount of labor that is required. A business is capital intensive if it requires heavy capital investment in buying assets relative to the level of sales or profits that those assets can generate.
