Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) is one of the largest state-owned steel makers in India. With a turnover of Rs 48,681 crore, the company is among the top five highest profit earning corporate of the country. Essar Steel is a global steel company with strong presence in intensive steel consuming markets in Asia and North America. It is India's largest exporter of flat steel with 14 MTPA (million tons per annum) of capacity.
