• We now have a rocket to both sides

• If the defense inverts coverage with
motion, QB will throw the backside
• The motion forces the defense to make a
choice
Using Sprint Out
• We Use Two Protections- Turn Back and
Full Zone Reach
• We can use a lead back, or use the back
as a swing player
• The Offensive Line looks to lock the box
• We can look to run first
• We use a smash concept on the playside
Installing The Sprint Out Game
• Changes the drop point of the QB making
it harder for the defense to get pressure
• We can full sprint or half sprint
• Allows us a run and pass threat
• We can work two and three man route
combinations to the playside
• We can incorporate the dash series as
well

• #2 runs a 12 Yard Corner Route
• Motion or #3 runs a 10 yard stick looking for the void
• QB gains depth then attacks the force defender
• Progression is Corner-Flat-Stick
• We can run this full zone protection

Keys To The Sprint Out
• QB Works to gain depth- Get to 7 yards
and attack LOS
• Read the Force Defender for run option
• Receivers must find the voids in the
defense
• Versus Man Coverage personnel change
to create a mismatch on the backer
• Look to get the ball deep first
