Reasoning behind using the paper packaging was that it helped keep the chicken crispy.
Thomas was also responsible for the creation of the famous rotating bucket sign.

Advertising
KFC's logo used from 1997 until November 2006. Despite his death in 1980, Sanders remains a key symbol of the company in its advertising and branding.
