SCORING SCHEME 3 marks Able to master all the criteria and state observations correctly 2 marks Able to master at least four criteria and state some of the observations correctly 1 mark Able to master at least two criteria and state one observation
COORDINATION GUIDE C(a d) can be observed from the activity C(e) any observation recorded in the form of table/drawing/ written statement describing the changes C(f) pattern can be identified from 2 or more changes from one activity
3 marks Able to master all the criteria 2 marks Able to master criteria (a) and (b) and state briefly the method of classification 1 mark Able to show the idea of classification using criteria (a) and/or criteria (b)
C2(a) can be seen from the objects/organisms/drawings/pictures/ data/table given C2(b) the students are able to produce two groups according to their common physical characteristics C2(d) if a dichotomous key is drawn, no written explanation is needed.

CRITERIA (PERFORMANCE INDICATOR) Make various possible interpretations from an observation using past experiences Use information from an observation to make an initial conclusion Use the inference made as a tool to determine the following observation
COORDINATION GUIDE
3 marks Able to master all the criteria and make inference correctly or logically 2 marks Able to master criteria (a) and (b) 1 mark Able to make at least one interpretation from an observation
C4a) accept if only one correct interpretation is given C4b) accept if inference is correctly written C4c) Teacher give question based on the application of the concept. Eg. Activity of density, why is it easier to float/swim in the sea rather than in the river
