A report is a piece of writing with the specific goal and target audience. Thus, student report writing is the process of creating a paper on the assigned topic with the professor and other students as its target audience. A report is a logical presentation of facts and information. The information is needed reviewing and evaluating progress for planning future course of action and for taking decisions. Reports provide feedback to the managers on various aspects of the organization.

CONSERVATIVE STYLE
Writing a report in conservative style is well and good. This type encompasses the essay writing format of the writing tools. Ultimately this consists of the headings and the explanations or answers for that sections. Similar to the essay writing, this style consists of paragraphs and two rows of blank spaces in between the paragraphs so that the readers will get a good idea what the report is interested to communicate. This article is an example for conservative style of writing a research report. Researchers used to opt this style.

KEYPOINT STYLE
The main advantage of this style of report writing is report looking. Obviously this consists of the headings, margins, diagrams and tables inside the report. This is moderate in terms of complexity but all the key points will be covered and the message will be delivered to the intended persons. KeyPoint style is more preferred as this covers all the features and points of the objective or objectives of a report. Like documenting this will have indents and other document features.

HOLISTIC STYLE
This style is the most complicated, felt among the researchers. Reason behind this complication is this kind of report should be presented in a thematic manner, based on a theme. Writers should have more knowledge about the theme to answer the questions if raised. Hence the report should be targeted towards the questioners.
