IMCO Class - International Maritime Organization (IMO) formerly known as the Inter-Governmental Maritime Consultative Organization (IMCO), was established in 1958 through the United Nations to coordinate international maritime safety and related practices.

UN Number - United Nations (UN) Numbers are four-digit numbers used world-wide in international commerce and transportation to identify hazardous chemicals or classes of hazardous materials. Temperature Flash Point - Flash point is the lowest temperature at which a liquid can form an ignitable mixture in air near the surface of the liquid. The lower the flash point, the easier it is to ignite the material.

Ocean Documents
Bill of Lading - A document of title to the goods being carried on the ship, which acts as a receipt for the cargo and contains the terms of the contract of carriage. Master Bill of Lading - A document, issued by a shipping line to a shipper / forwarder which serves as a receipt for the goods and evidence of the contract carriage. House Bill of Lading - A document, issued by a forwarder to the actual shipper which serves as a receipt for the goods and evidence of the contract carriage.

Ocean Documents
Manifest - A document containing a full list of the ship's cargo, extracted from the bills of lading. CONTAINER MANIFEST - Document showing contents and loading sequence of a container. CARGO MANIFEST - A manifest that lists all cargo carried on a specific vessel voyage. Invoice - An itemized list of goods shipped to a buyer, stating quantities, prices, shipping charges, etc. Packing List - Itemized list of commodities with marks/numbers but no cost values indicated.
