New students recruitment system follows the pattern and national standard. Students applicants of Gorontalo State University are also come from outside Gorontalo Province.

Average Selection grade of new students is still low. Selection (SPMB). Total Devotee (Science & Social) from the last 4 years is decreasing. Total students re-registered are decreasing. Percentage of staff with doctorate qualification is still low (less than 10&). Academic staff interest to study abroad is still low.

Lecturer ratio against students has reached ideal grade. Academic staff percentage that has Master and Doctorate qualification is increasing. Total Academic staff that follow education is still high. Total administration staff has enough to fill organizational structure and implementation of function. Level of position is getting better. Candidate students have a lot of choice for study program. Curriculum arranged based on the regional needs with basic competency. Curriculum evaluated periodically to be appropriate with needs.

Total collection that is increasing. The availability of librarian and administration. Supporting facilities such as photocopy, electronic catalog, security system and internet. Loan transaction is increasing There is laboratory available to support all kind of science. There have been efforts to arrange the internal university management through regulation arrangement, planning, and training. University lecture rooms, administration, library and laboratory that is supportive

The collection of new books is still few. The collection of science journal is not enough and the university does not subscribe for science journal. Total visitors only from the academic staff. Service hour is still limited and there is no weekend service. None Professional technician available. Water and electricity facilities and the security are still few. There are tools that have not been used for educational and teaching activities. Processing facilities and or waste dumping is still less. Lecturer rooms is very less, whether its from the capacious or the design. University lecture room (fan, white board and lamps) is still limited. Faculties do not have seminar room.

There has been commitment between the leader and staff to improve the university. There have been efforts to arrange the internal university management through regulation arrangement, planning, and training. Gorontalo State University organizational structure has appointed to Government Regulation No.60 year 1999. There has been cooperation between Gorontalo State University and other elements in Gorontalo Province, whether its the government or private. The expanding cooperation network is now being built with every party. University fully supports to all students activities. Students with great achievement, whether its in the regional or national level.

There is no effective and independent control mechanism and accountability system. Transparency process for decision making/policy making is not optimal. Supervision for regulation/decision implementation in the down level is still week.
