Generation Y Ranges from the Mid 70s to the Early 2000s The most common range reflects births from 19801999 giving a child born in 1980 time to grow into adulthood and be able to reproduce their own offspring at the turn of the millennium

As the graph shows, the population of Americas Generation Y is showing increases in the minorities and is decreasing in the population of Caucasians
