What is Air Pollution ?

The release of substances into the air which can cause problems for humans, plants and animals is air pollution.

What are some of the effects?

The ozone layer is also being depleted for this reason. One of the types of air pollution is the release of particles into the air from burning the fuel for energy. Examples are diesel smoke, exhaust from burning fuels in vehicles, homes and factories. Even the burning of wood and charcoal in fireplaces can increase soot content in the air.

How to Reduce air pollution

To reduce the effects of air pollution, prevention is key. We can reduce the amount of Carbon Dioxide that escapes into the air by reducing the usage of burned fuels. Vehicles are a major source of this sort of pollution and we can attempt to lower pollution from vehicle combustion by using vehicles less, keeping the vehicle properly maintained to lower smoke emissions and by using unleaded gasoline. Large-scale industries such as factories also contribute largely to the pollution of air as they also burn fuel which is released into the

What are the effects of water pollution ?

Water pollution affects aquatic life in various ways. It affects organisms both as individuals and as part of a food chain. The rising temperatures brought about by global warming may lead to death of aquatic organisms. Many organisms may become stranded in oil spills and die of starvation and dehydration .The pollutants which enter water bodies affect the cells of organisms causing
