2. Secondary data: Secondary data includes Internet Books Newspapers etc

Sample size is 50. Random sampling method is used for the research. Sample area is Bareilly city. Research used is descriptive.

FINDINGS
While conducting the survey we came to know about the awareness, satisfaction level , affordability, availability and how long they are using the two brands. We find out that most of the people are preferring the woodland shoes because of their affordability and availability. Certain other factors that influence the buying decision and the choice of stores are: Income Social class Occupation

Age group is a major deciding factor while determining brand recall of a store as it is different for youth and the older generation. Amount of money spent within the store is directly proportional to the variety of items offered .

SUGGESTIONS
The stores should offer branded discounts to the customers. The sales people should be trained to entertain the customer well. That ensures their future return. While promoting the stores they should focus basically on word of mouth communication. As still people trust their peers and family more than media. They should decrease the price of red chief shoes as many people are still not buying because of high rate. The company should offer variety under one roof, as this is what the customers look for.
