HISTORY
In 1941, Barrio Obrero was formerly a government-owned subdivision. In 1950, the Barrio was finally adopted by the City of Davao. The Davao School of Arts and trades, located in Barrio Obrero, was changed to University of Southeastern Philippines (USEP) in 1979
HISTORY
In 1980, it was the term of Barangay Captain Palma Gil. In 2006, a solid waste management program was implemented. In 2007, Whelma Lozada was re-elected as Barangay Captain
