The ConnectEMC GUI Overview


The GUI provides for: Three user levels defined with login Viewing and editing of Site Information settings Viewing of recent and current file transport and message status and activity Capability to customize application for unique site conditions (High user level) Debug (Engineering level)

Logging In Logging Out


Prompts to log-in occur automatically Logout is automatic when you close the GUI

Logging in 1. Select Action, Login from the Menu Bar to open the Login dialog box 2. Click inside the User Name box to bring it into focus 3. Enter your user name 4. Click OK Logging out 1. Select Action, Logout from the Menu Bar
You will be prompted for unsaved changes

The ConnectEMC GUI ICON Bar

Restore the default GUI Splitter toolbar buttons. Pressing an icon alters the GUI in that manner ALL Test in sequence each current record in the Connection List. TEST the current ConnectEMC configuration sequence INFO View the info Pane. Stop or Resume the ConnectEMC data transfer Stop, Run, register the GUI buttons are available when the Status View is active

Primary Connections

If you have configured multiple Primary Connections for one

Connect Type ConnectEMC will continue to call home until both Connections have completed successfully You will be prompted if you attempt to create two Primary Connections for a single Connect Type
