Objective Of Study
The main objective was to study the employees welfare system and the facilities which are provided to the employees in the National Fertilizer Limited.

Introduction To Fertilizer Industry

The fertilizer industry in India began its journey way back in 1906. The agriculture contribute about 25% to the GDP. The Indian Fertilizer Industry is one of the important sectors of the agricultural sphere. India is third largest producer of nitrogenous fertilizers.

 The First factory was established in Ranipet in Chennai. It had a capacity of producing 6000 MT annually. The Fertilizer industry is divided into three parts public, private, co-operative.

The National Fertilizers Limited was established on 23rd August 1974 The National Fertilizer Limited Has five plants 1. Nangal Plant, Dist. Ropar , Punjab 2. Panipat Plant, Haryana 3. Bhatinda Plant, Punjab 4. Vijaipur Plant- I , Dist. Guna , M.P. 5. Vijaipur Plant- II , Dist. Guna , M.P

 The brand name of the fertilizer product is Kisan Urea NFL is the II nd largest producer of urea in the country. Its market share is approx.17%. With around

4,200 crore sales turnover.

NFL's provides accommodation, electricity & water facility to the employees. Employees are provided the medical facility by the NFL. Organisation also provide insurance facility to every employee. NFL take care of the employees but their family also.
