Summer Internships
- An effort to provide students with a familiarity to the corporate environment, students have successfully participated in summer internship in a diverse mix of companies ranging from multinationals to start-ups

Real life assignment as part of IEL course

- As part of the IEL course, every student is required to pick a real life assignment ranging from own enterprise to working with micro entrepreneur. These assignments are then evaluated at the end of the course. The idea is to inculcate the entrepreneurial spirit and leadership in students.

The highest salary in 2011 placements touched INR 7.5 lakhs per annum and in 2012, it was INR 6.0 lakhs per annum
Commercial Banks and financial services were the biggest recruiters including companies like Citibank, Yes Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, IndusInd Bank, ING Vysya, Axis Bank, SKS Microfinance among other fast growing companies for a variety of profiles. Consulting firms made a considerable presence with HCL Infosystems, Deloitte, Luxury Hues, Nettpositive, Coretree, INI Consulting along with a few more. Marketing profiles were well represented with the companies including MGL, Candid Marketing, Career Launcher, Fortis, DTDC and Educomp. Well known companies like Astra Zeneca, Capgemini, Intel, Nettpositive and Career Launcher, Outlook, Naukri.com participated for summer internship projects.

Disha CIEL Center for Inspiring Entrepreneurial Leadership, was formed as a conventional E-cell with a vision to foster an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the campus, has morphed into a full-fledged center of excellence and has received recognition among the highest levels. Centre for Career Services Besides driving the placement process in the campus, CCS focuses on extending support towards shaping the career of students by taking bravura initiatives. Outreach Team An initiative to ensure and facilitate smooth flow of information to the outside world. Society for Encouraging Education (SEE) Understanding the needs to educate BOP kids, students at IWSB have taken initiative to teach them regularly in the campus. Student Welfare Council SWC is an effort by the students focusing on the all-round development of the students through sub-initiatives like Cultural Committee, Sports Committee etc.
