1. Understanding the needs of your organization Understanding the needs of your LC is the first step. See how many people there are in each department.

Some key pointers:
clear & comprehensive understanding of the kind of activities (both exchange as well as non-exchange related) that your LC would be getting involved in over the next 1 year. Your exchange target also has a very important bearing on the number of people that you want to recruit.

Real life examples:


OGX more people in the OGX department (also handling information) 1 member cannot effectively handle more than 3 EPs at a time Scale of the Induction Camps (will be organized by OGX department) Your current external partnerships that need to be managed The scope of the SAC Delivery and the average time required

ICX 1 member cannot effectively handle more than 3 clients at a time The number of organizations/associations that need to be approached (raising forms and partnerships) Delivery and the average delivery time required Post match preparation Managing trainees
