Class-10th Name-akshay aggarwal Roll no.-01 Global Warming

Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans since the mid-20th century and its projected continuation . What is Global Warming??? .

permafrost and sea .What are the causes of Global Warming??? An increase in global temperature will cause sea levels to rise and will change the amount and pattern of precipitation. The continuing retreat of glaciers. probably including expansion of subtropical deserts.

species extinctions. sea level and disrupt ecosystems. Global warming could affect seasons. with warming being strongest in the Arctic. Other likely effects include increases in the intensity of extreme weather events. and changes in agricultural yields. .ice is expected.

and . rising sea levels. What are the effects of Global Warming??? The effects of global warming and climate change are of concern both for the environment and human life. Evidence of observed climate change includes the instrumental temperature record.

decreased snow cover in the Northern Hemisphere. "[most] of the observed increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in [human greenhouse gas] . According to the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report.

and a probable increase in the frequency of some extreme weather events.concentrations".e. It is predicted that future climate changes will include further global warming (i. Ecosystems are seen as being particularly vulnerable to climate change. Human systems are seen as . an upwardtrend in global mean temperature).. sea level rise.

many countries have implemented policies designed to reduce their emissions of greenhouse gases. To reduce the risk of large changes in future climate.being variable in their capacity to adapt to future climate change. .

walk or carpool whenever possible. Consider investing in a hybrid or electric vehicle to help prevent against further global warming. Take bikes. Step1 Step2 .How we can prevent it??? Drive less.

Clean or replace your filters monthly. Choose energy-efficient appliances when it's time to buy new ones. Step4 Step5 .Replace all the lightbulbs in and around your home with energyefficient fluorescents that use fewer watts for the same amount of light.

Wash clothes in cold water and line-dry whenever possible.Decrease your air travel. which will lessen the hot water used but not drop your water pressure in the shower. Use a low-flow showerhead. Step6 Step7 Step8 .

Step10 .Cut down on your garbage—buy fewer packaged materials to prevent further global warming. turn items off when they’re not being used. At the very least. Step9 Unplug electronics when they are not in use. because they still take up energy.

and don’t forget to repair or replace worn caulking or weatherstripping. Insulate your water heater . Insulate your home better. use the energy-saving setting. Step11 Step12 . and if available.Run the dishwasher and clothes washer only when you have a full load.

Plant a tree. Step13 Bring your own reusable canvas grocery bags when grocery shopping.Buy recycled paper products and recycle as much of your waste as possible. Step14 Step15 .

Fresh takes less Step17 Step18 . Shop locally for food. And choose fresh food over frozen foods. A farmer’s market is an excellent place to visit. Step16 Use nontoxic cleaning products.Have an energy audit done on your home so you can find the trouble areas and fix them.

Eat less meat and more organic foods in your diet to do your part in preventing global warming Step19 Step20 . and check tire pressure often to save gas. Keep your car tuned to produce.

The End…!!!!!! .
