Introduction
Nickel ore in the world are classified into two types, nickel sulfide ores and nickel oxide, commonly called laterite. Melting Point at 1455 C Boiling Point at 2913 C Ferromagnetic

By H2S
In Precipitating by H2S the following points should be taken into consideration : + A number of metal sulfides are complexed by H2S to give solube complexes of the types MS.n H2S. Therefore the solubility of metals sulfides in H2S saturated water is much greater than in distilled water + Precipitation may be greatly accelerated by the addition of a catalyst + The faster a precipitation reaction proceeds, precipitate more than smooth

+ Acid is generated during precipitation M2+ + H2S MS + 2H+
At the Moa Bay Plant, Cuba for recovering it was based on H2S precipitation. The ore containing 1.35% Ni and 0,15% Co is leached with sulfuric acid at 230oC and 500 psi.

Hidro-Elektrometalurgi
By Hydrogen
Precipitation by gas occurred in high temperature and high pressure This method is most economical when applied to concentrated solutions

Kinetics Aspect
Using The
activation energy in the temperature range 150-175oC is 13,7 kkal/mol And in the temperature range 175-200oC is 5,7 kkal/mol

In a fact we must used heterogen not homogen because Equlibrium conditions are more favorable At the Sherrit Gordon Plant, the purified leach solution obtained by amonical pressure leaching of Ni-Co sulfide concentrate contains 45g/l Ni, 1 g/l Co, 350 g/l ammonium sulfate and enough free ammonia to give an [NH3]/[Ni2+] + [Co2+]=2 The purified solution is reacted with H2 at 500 psi and 200oC. Ni will be precipitated and Co still in solution

Conclusions
recovery
nickel by precipitation can directly produce metallic H2S And H2 can be used in recovery nickel
