This study aims to determine the psychosexual, psychosocial, cognitive, and moral development of Montessori Grade School Pupils of

University of Saint Anthony, Iriga City. Specifically, it answers the


following queries: 1. What is the profile of the Montessori Grade School Pupils in terms of: a. Age b. Sex c. Grade Level

d. Birth Order/Ordinal Position in the Family


e. Person whom they stayed with f. Religious Affiliation g. Family Household Income

2. What is the status of the childs development when grouped according to age in terms of: a. Psychosexual Development

b. Psychosocial Development
c. Cognitive Development d. Moral Development 3. Is there a significant difference between childs developments among the different grade levels of USANT? 4. What factors may affect the development of the child? 5. What measures can be proposed to help the child develop the psychosexual, psychosocial, cognitive, and moral development?

This study was based on the following assumptions: 1. The profile of the Montessori Grade School Pupils varies.

2. The Montessori Grade School Pupils have different status when


grouped according to age in terms of psychosexual, psychosocial, cognitive, and moral development. 3. There are factors that may affect the development of the child.

4. There are measures that can be proposed to help the child


develop the psychosexual, psychosocial, cognitive, and moral development.

SYNTHESIS OF THE STATE OF THE ART

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

RESPONDENTS

The researcher selected Montessori Grade School Pupils of USANT from the ten levels namely Toddler, Nursery, Kindergarten, Preparatory, Grade One, Grade Two, Grade Three, Grade Four, Grade Five, and Grade Six using random sampling method. It was composed of

285 Montessori Grade School Pupils wherein 25 of them come from


Toddler, 16 from Nursery, 17 from Kindergarten, 20 from Preparatory, 40 from Grade 1, 40 from Grade 2, 27 from Grade 3, 33 from Grade 4, 32 from Grade 5, and 34 from Grade 6. The researcher used stratified random as a sampling technique in this study.
