Statistical Quality Control

The word quality means : a measurement which states the compatibility between the product and the specification.

Advantage of SQC :
1. As a tool to put a specification as what the quality of product is examined
2. As a tool to reach the target 3. As a tool to check whether the target is reached

Since the product quality is the target of industry, the quality control includes all the persons at any level, design, manufacture, and inspection.
Different with inspection, quality control includes - when the inspection must be done - specify the number of inspection product - to decide when the production process must be rearranged to avoid decreasing in quality

Comparing with the benefit to be achieved, the effort to control

the quality is relatively small or not significant, since the routine procedure and the equipment of inspection can be used.

For the first time, a small group of personnel or staff can be attached without disturbing their routine task.

The constraint on applying the quality control is the personnel attitude concerning with the new task, if the introduction to it is not done in the right way.
The continuity of production can not be disturbed , the operator does not feel watched every minutes, until the concept of quality control understood

Quality is not a trade mark that can be stick on the

product resulted. Quality is the direct result of manufacturing process, such that it must be controlled and maintained to be good as long as the product treated various manufacturing process.
