Types of GD
Factual: Reality & fact based Ex: Social, Economic and Business issues Controversial: Mostly 2 sided and hence argumentative Abstract: These are very vague or non-descriptive in nature. They select candidates who are creative and can think out of the box. Ex: If elephant can fly, Green Sky, Blue Fields, Red Water etc. Case Study: A problem statement is given to a group and candidates problem solving skills are checked.

Dos: Think before you speak. Start the GD only when you are sure to make a good start Be objective rather than opinionated Use only valid data and statistics to support your point Speak in short and clear manner Be attentive and show interest when others speak Inspire others to make their contribution Beware about body language
