Registered within the legislative body of Nepal Government and Social Welfare Council, Nepal. Non-biased, non-political, non ethnic, and Equal opportunity, transparent, responsible and accountable social organization Working for the Child Rights staying under the guidelines of UNCRC 1989
Developmental Goal of LWN To assure the Child Rights as the Policy Available in the Constitution of Nepal, National Child Policies and Frameworks, Guidelines of UNCRC.
Objectives of LWN
To work in the problems of Children in Conflict with Law, Labor Children, Street Children, Children with risk of getting abused/ Abused, Children in Risk of Trafficking / Trafficked, Children from poor, deprived, rural, disadvantaged Community, Children with HIV/AIDS, Drug Abuse. To assure the Child Rights of the Children in Nepal. To influence the Policy Makers to be accountable for child friendly policies. To Promote Child Friendly Local Governance To raise importance to the four pillars in UNCRC (Participation, Protection, Development and Survival of Children) To compliment the National Government to combat the problems in children issues and build the Child Rights Secured State in Nepal. To enhance, capacity build of networks in the children Program in Nepal To manage the organization and its goal (LWN) To implement several projects to fulfill the above objectives mentioned.
