Her background includes work for the 1995 White House Conference on Aging and the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. She is the former chair of the National Institute of Community-based Long-term Care, and a former board member of the National Association of Area Agencies on Aging.
Carol Zernial currently serves as the Executive Director of the WellMed Charitable Foundation and Vice President of Community Relations for WellMed Medical Management. She is a member of the Board of Directors for the National Council on the Aging, and the statewide Aging Texas Well Advisory Committee. She is also the producer/host of the radio show Caregiver SOS on Air.
