I met Micki in 1975, knew her for 2 months, our engagement was 10 days. For the first six months of marriage, a motorcycle was our only transportation. The first year of our marriage we lived in an 8x12-foot cabin in the woods with no utilities. We've now been married 38 years, have six kids and two grandsons. I saved a woman's life when I was a boy, and have had my life saved at least seven times. After deserting from the Army and getting arrested and brought back, I was put in nuclear weapons maintenance at Camp Ames in South Korea. I hitchhiked across the U.S. several times--the last time with my wife and baby. We lived in a nudist camp for 2 1/2 years. Our four youngest children were born at home, underwater, and I was the midwife for the birth of our youngest. I'm the author of "All About Tarantulas" (TFH Pub., 1977). The son of a Methodist minister who instilled in me a religious sense, I am now Roman Catholic. I have recently finished reading in order every Pulitzer Prize winning fiction book from the year of my birth to the present. My transportation is a 1940 Elgin bicycle.weniger sehen
