People discuss on the human rights of women they also discuss workers but they often neglect or forget about this one sector of working women population in the prostitution industries. Over the years they have been deprived of their basic human rights, stereotyped by the society, disrobed of their human dignity and cornered by the law and its administrators. In India the scenario is such that the profession is neither illegal nor banned provided it is not in an organized and commercialized form but it is not even legally sanctioned. Many believe that by doing this India has adopted a very tolerant view towards the prostitutes. But this tolerant view has done more harm than good. Over the years this attitude of the society towards them have pushed them deeper and deeper into this vicious cycle therefore it has become even more difficult for their childrhochgeladen vonSupallab Chakraborty
