I have health issues mostly with chronic pain and writing is the one thing that I can do that doesn't affect my health. I can escape for a while in my writings and have been told by many that they do the same when reading my work. I write poetry and short stories, but would love to do a novel or a complete book of short stories. New add to bio: I will be publishing a complete short story book soon.
