: 1. Pupils heat 250 ml of water for 10 minutes and
feel the water every few seconds while heating
to feel the change of temperature.
2. Pupils let the warm water cool down and feel
the water every few second.
1. Based on the above activities, pupils discuss
and conclude that :
a) heat gain causes the water to become
warmer.
b) heat loss causes the water to
become cooler.
