Für den Anschlußstutzen des PLYMESH-Belüftungs-

kissens wird die Silowand durchbohrt (je nach Durch-
messer 1/2”, 3/4” oder 11/2”).
Die Abbildung zeigt ein an der Innenseite der Silowand
angebrachtes PLYMESH-Belüftungskissen (1), das außen
mit einer Dichtung (2), einer Scheibe (3) sowie mit einer
Gegenmutter (4) befestigt ist. Die Montage und Inbetrieb-
nahme erfolgt an nicht kontaminierten Leitungen.
Rechteckige Belüftungskissen werden senkrecht an die
Silowand angebracht.

In order to attach the PLYMESH aeration pad to the silo,

the cone is drilled with a 1/2”, 3/4” or 11/2” diameter hole, as
applicable.
The figure shows a PLYMESH aeration pad (1) mounted
on the inside of the silo cone. It is attached on the outside
with a gasket (2), a washer (3) and a counternut (4).
Pipelines must be clean during installation, start-up and
operation. Rectangular aeration pads have to be aligned
vertically on the inside silo wall.

Betriebsbedingungen – Operating conditions

– Öl- und wasserfreie, gefilterte Speiseluft.
– Beaufschlagsdruck am Kissen anstehend
ca. 500 mbar, max. 800 mbar.
– Für jede Ringleitung Rückschlag- und Überdruckventile.
– Keine zusätzliche mechanische, chemische oder
– Oil- and water-free, filtered air supply.
– Pressurization at the aeration pad approx. 500 mbar,
max. 800 mbar.
– Return valve and pressure control valve for each circu-
lar pipeline.

Für die Auslegung der Luftversorgung kann der Luftbedarf
mit 4 –5 m3/h/Kissen zugrunde gelegt werden.
Die Ringleitungen sollen in R 3/4” ausgelegt werden.
Um den Luftverbrauch gering zu halten, wird ein pulsie-
render Belüftungsbetrieb empfohlen: 10 sek Druck,
30 sek Pause.
Die einzelnen Ringleitungen sollen wechselweise beauf-
schlagt werden.
Entsprechend den vorgewählten Zeiten für Druck/Pause
sinkt der Luftbedarf wesentlich.
The air supply can be based on an air consumption of
4 –5 m3/h aeration pad.
The closed circular pipelines should be arranged in R 3/4”.
In order to minimize the air consumption an intermittent
air supply is recommended: 10 sec pressure, 30 sec pause.
The different pipeline circuits should be alternately pres-
surized.
Depending on the predetermined sequence for
pressure/pause the required air supply drops significantly.
