During the elaboration of its projects, the firm maintains the principles of sustainability as a priority, both in its scientific and design approach. The
search for a balanced relationship between the built and natural environment remains today a central issue in architecture, urbanism and the field of
construction in general. It is true that modern society is increasingly dominated by products and symbols of technology; in this techno-centric
environment the sciences, in general, and architecture, in particular, often have to oppose ecology in order to mediate between physical phenomena
and man satisfying his instinctive primeval needs.

Following contemporary design methodology we examine series of parameters in order to save energy, natural resources, improve air quality and
living, both inside the building and the surrounding landscaped area. At the same time the economic benefits of maintenance and operation are
important, gaining precedence over conventional design.

Landscape Design

We believe that architecture and landscape should be complementary and that great design is a synthesis greater than the summation of its parts.

Urban design at P+Partners involves the systematic layering of various cultural and natural systems in order to unravel design issues of the city. As
