Institut haben Alpakas aus dem Institut
eigenen Herde harmlose Corona Viren
infiziert. Die Tiere entwickelten darauf
Antikörper im Blut die das Coronavirus
angeblich 1000 mal besser bekämpfen
als bisher entwickelte impfstoffe, und
gegen alle bisher bekannten Virus
Mutationen wirken sollen.
Wir haben einige identifiziert die in der
ganz besondere Wirksamkeit haben. Da
reicht Millionenstel Gramm in einem
Liter um das Virus komplett zu stoppen,
am infizieren zu hinder.
Das Besondere die Antikörper im Blut
der Alpakas sogenannten nanobodies
sind 10 Mal kleiner als normale
Antikörper. Sie passen überall durch
können so auch in tieferen. Gewebe an
Coronaviren andocken und verhindern,
dass sie in die Zellen eindringen.
Dabei verkleben sie die Viruspartikel
und machen sie unschädlich mit Hilfe
von Bakterien wollen die Forscher nun
die mini Antikörper der Alpakas im
Labor Vervielfältigen.

What is special about the antibodies in

nanobodies, are 10 times smaller than
normal antibodies. They can fit through
anywhere, including deeper ones.
Tissues attach to coronaviruses and
prevent them from entering the cells.
In doing so, they stick together the virus
particles and render them harmless
with the help of bacteria, the
researchers now want to duplicate the
mini antibodies of the alpacas in the
laboratory.

wir sie mit spezifischen Bauplänen von

praktisch gar nicht mehr auf die Alpakas
angewiesen.

inhaliert werden ähnlich wie bei Asthma
spritzen wären überflüssig
schon ende dieses Jahres sollen erste
klinische studien dazu beginnen.
