introduction
foreword
by sir paul mccartney
Klaus is a mate from way back in Hamburg during our exciting
Reeperbahn days. His drawings always impressed me and his
cool sense of humour comes through in this graphic novel. It is
good for me to see the other side of a story I know so well and
to realise aspects like the sheer panic that Klaus must have felt
at being asked to do our album cover. In the end, the REVOLVER
cover was a classic and this book is another.

serer aufregenden Reeperbahn-Tage.

letter from my good old pal ringo Hi Klaus -
Thanks for sending me the proof of your REVOLVER book - it
brought back such great memories - even farther back than
REVOLVER - to when you used to share an apartment with
George and I in Whaddon House in London. I want to thank you
for all the love and kindnesses you’ve shown me over the years
- and your friendship. I hope it sells a million copies! It is also
great that you still have such a love for your drawings - and let
me tell you one more time the REVOLVER cover was incredible
and perfect for that album.
Peace & love,
Ringo
p.s. Are you still playing your bass? You were very good at that
too!
Hi Klaus,
