This cosmopolitan city on the Weser river can look back on over 1,200 years of history. Attractions include the Weser Renaissance town hall and the Roland statue on the market square (a joint UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004), the Schnoor Bremen's oldest quarter, the quaint buildings in Bttcherstrasse and the cathedral. Bremen's best-known monument and its emblem is the statue of the Town Musicians featuring the donkey, dog, cat and rooster from the Brothers Grimm fairytale.

Mit dem Flugzeug: Der internationale Flughafen ist im Linienverkehr mit allen wichtigen Drehkreuzen und Flughfen Deutschlands und Europas verbunden. Mit der Straenbahn erreichen Gste in nur 15 Minuten die Innenstadt und das Messe- und Congress Centrum Bremen. Mit der Bahn: Per Zug mit ICE und IC/EC aus allen deutschen Grostdten bequem bis in Bremens Stadtmitte. Von dort geht es in zehn Minuten zu Fu zum historischen Marktplatz oder in drei Gehminuten zum Messe- und Congress Centrum Bremen.

By air: Bremen's international airport has scheduled flight connections to major hubs and regional airports in Germany and the rest of Europe. The tram from the airport takes just 15 minutes to reach the heart of the city or the exhibition and conference centre. By train: Bremen's city-centre station is served by InterCityExpress, InterCity and EuroCity trains from all major cities in Germany. It's then just ten minutes on foot to the historical market square or three minutes' walk to the exhibition and conference centre.
