TOURIST VISA INFORMATION

Thank you for your inquiry. For application of tourist visa, you need the following documents and details: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Original passport (no copy!) still valid for 6 months at least One Arrival Report Form Two Application Forms for Tourist Visa Three passport photos: Please glue (no clip, no staple) yourself one on each of the three forms Visa fee of 25 Euro. You can pay by bank transfer (see bank details at the end of the page) Self-addressed return envelope with German stamps for registered letter. For international return mailings, enclose a postage fee of 10 Euro cash at least. International coupons for postage fee and Austrian Euro stamps are not accepted.

Tourist Visa may be obtained from any Myanmar Mission abroad and, after issuing, it is immediately valid for 3 months for one entry to Myanmar during this time (entry visa). From day of entry, visa permits a maximum stay of 28 days. Children under the age of 7 do not need visa if they are registered in one of the parents passport. Please consider that bank transfers from abroad can sometimes take up to 10 days so that issuing may delay. After visa issue, a refund of visa fee is not possible. Visa is only issued on original passport. Please apply in English and mention your occupation/profession (or retired). If you are a member of a package tour group, you have to apply for the issuance of package tour visa and include a confirmation letter issued by the registered Myanmar tour company (please ask your travel agency).

Reisepass (keine Photokopie!) mit mindestens 6 Monate Gltigkeit Ein Einreiseformular (Arrival Report Form) Zwei Antragsformulare fr Touristenvisum (Application Form for Tourist Visa) Drei Passfotos: Kleben Sie bitte jeweils ein Foto auf ein der Formulare (bitte keine Klammern!) Visumgebhr 25 Euro Zahlen Sie die Visumgebhren womglich per Bankberweisung (siehe unten Bankverbindung) Frankierter Rckumschlag (nur deutsche Briefmarken!) fr Einschreibsendungen. Fr Sendungen aus ausserhalb Duetschland mssen Sie eine Postgebhr von mindestens 10 Euro beilegen. Internationale Antwortscheine und sterreichische Briefmarken werden von der deutschen Post nicht akzeptiert!.

Ein Touristenvisum kann bei jeder Myanmar Mission im Ausland beantragt werden. Das Visum ist ein Einreisevisum und ist ab Ausstellungsdatum drei Monate gltig innerhalb dieser Zeit knnen Sie einmal einreisen und erlaubt Ihnen vom Tag Ihrer Einreise einen Aufenthalt in Myanmar von 4 Wochen (28 Tage). Kinder unter 7 Jahren brauchen kein Visum, allerdings nur wenn sie im Pass einer der Eltern eingetragen sind. Bitte beantragen Sie Ihr Visum zeitig. Bearbeitung und Postweg knnen manchmal einige Wochen in Anspruch nehmen. Bitte bercksichtigen Sie, dass berweisungen aus dem Ausland lngere Zeit bentigen. Nach Bearbeitung des Visumantrages is eine Rckerstattung der Gebhren nicht mehr mglich. Das Visum wird in den Reisepass eingetragen. Wenn Sie Teilnehmer einer Pauschalreise (Package Tour) sind, mssen Sie ein entsprechendes Touristenvisum beantragen. Dafr bentigen Sie einen Brief des im Myanmar registrierten Veranstalters. Sprechen Sie dafr Ihr Reisebro an. Wir bitten, alle Formulare vollstndig in Englisch auszufllen.
