Pressemitteilung Das erste europische Forum der Kampagnen gegen Agrexco fand am 4. und 5. Juni 2011 in Montpellier (Frankreich) statt. Organisiert wurde das Forum von der franzsischen Koalition gegen Agrexco und dem palstinensischen nationalen Boykott-Komitee (BNC). 22 auslndische Delegierte aus sieben europischen Lndern (aus der Schweiz, Italien, Grobritannien, aus den Niederlanden, Belgien, Deutschland und aus Katalonien) und 90 Delegierte aus ganz Frankreich kamen zusammen. Die Organisationen, die in Norwegen und Schweden die Kampagne tragen, sendeten Grubotschaften, da von ihnen niemand kommen konnte. Gemeinsam mit Rafeef ZIADAH, Reprsentantin des BNC und Michael DEAS, Koordinator des BNC fr Europa sowie mit drei palstinensischen Rechtsanwlten der palstinensischen Anwaltskammer in Ramallah arbeiteten die Delegierten an zwei Hauptpunkten der Kampagnen gegen Agrexco: am Boykott und an der juristischen Offensive gegen Agrexco. In freundlicher Atmosphre wechselseitiger Zusammenarbeit wurden Erfahrungen ausgetauscht und praktische Aktionsmglichkeiten diskutiert. Das Forum zeigte, dass eine sehr aktive europische Mobilisierung gegen Agrexco und ein breites Einverstndnis mit dem Boykott-Aufruf des palstinensischen BNC existiert. Das Forum stimmte die Grndung eines europaweiten Netzwerkes ebenso zu wie dem Aufruf zu einem europischen Aktionstag gegen Agrexco, der am Samstag, den 26. November 2011 stattfinden soll. Montpellier, 5 June 2011 PRESS RELEASE The first European Forum of the campaigns against Agrexco took place in Montpellier (France) the 4 and 5 June 2011. Organised by the French coalition against Agrexco and the Palestinian BNC (Boycott National Committee), it brought together 22 foreign delegates from 7 European countries (Switzerland, Italy, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Catalonia) as well as 90 delegates from all around France. The Norwegian and Swedish campaigns could not send delegates but wrote support messages. Along with Rafeef ZIADAH, representative of the BNC, Michael DEAS, European coordinator for the BNC, and 3 Palestinian lawyers from the Palestinian Bar Association in Ramallah, the delegates worked on the two main topics of the campaigns against Agrexco: the boycott of Agrexco and the legal offensive against Agrexco. They exchanged experiences and discussed practical means of action in a friendly atmosphere of mutual cooperation. The forum exposed the existence of a very active European mobilisation against Agrexco and broad agreement with the call for boycott from the Palestinian BNC. The forum agreed to establish a European wide network and to call for a European day of action against Agrexco on Saturday 26 November 2011.
