FELIX STARK
Felix Stark lebt und arbeitet in Kln. 1976 in Bonn geboren, schliet er im Jahre 2002 seine Lehre als Mbelschreiner ab und beginnt mit dem Studium zum Industriedesigner. Seit 2004 betreibt er sein eigenes IndustrieDesign-Bro und ist als Dozent an verschiedenen Akademien ttig. Seine Entwrfe konnten bereits zahlreiche Auszeichnungen fr Produktdesign gewinnen, darunter auch der reddot design award und Die Gute Form.

Felix Stark lives and works in Cologne. Born in 1976 in Bonn, he completed his training as furniture carpenter in 2002, before beginning a degree in industrial design. Since 2004 he has had his own industrial design office and is also a lecturer at different academies. His designs have already won numerous awards for product design, including the red dot design award and the Die Gute Form prize (a design competition organised by the German carpenters guild).

UPDATE FR EINEN KLASSIKER

Der Designer Felix Stark hat mit seinem Entwurf PLANE den klassischen Sekretr in die Neuzeit berfhrt. PLANE, sachlich und elegant in der Form, ist der ideale Platz, fr die Arbeit mit Laptop, Smartphone und Co. Alle bentigten Zuleitungen wie Strom, Telefon oder Netzwerkkabel werden unsichtbar hinter dem rckseitigen Tischbein gefhrt und enden in einem Fach zwischen den beiden Schubksten. Hier finden neben Mehrfachsteckern auch Kabel und Netzteile ausreichend Platz. Ein Kabelauslass in der vorderen Blende und der oberen Ablage ermglicht, dass bequeme Arbeiten am Laptop ohne strendes Kabel. PLANE wirkt durch seine elegante Linienfhrung modern und zeitlos. Er ist wegen seiner Form und seiner Mae ideal auch in kleinen Rumen und Wohnungen einsetzbar, wo ein Arbeitsplatz integriert werden soll.

UPDATING A CLASSIC
Designer Felix Starks PLANE design updates the traditional office bureau for the present day. PLANE, objective and elegant in its form, is ideal for working with a laptop, smartphone or similar equipment. All the cables you require, including electric power, telephone and network connections, are placed out of sight behind the rear leg, and lead into a compartment located between the two drawers. As well as housing several power sockets, the compartment has plenty of space for cables and power supplies. There are cable outlets in the front panel and works surface, to hide cables when working with a laptop. Thanks to its elegant line design, PLANE is both modern and timeless. Its shape and dimensions make it ideal for integration in small rooms or apartments.

Der Sekretr ist mit zwei Schubksten ausgestattet. Die Schubksten bieten viel Platz fr z.B. Schreibutensilien oder technische Zusatzgerte. Das Innenma der Schubksten betrgt in der Breite 304 mm, in der Tiefe 235 mm und in der Hhe 65 mm und kann daher auch DINA4 groe Dokumente aufnehmen.

The bureau contains two drawers. The drawers offer plenty of space for writing implements and technical devices. The internal dimensions are: width 304 mm, depth 235 mm, and height 65 mm, making them large enough to accommodate documents in DIN A4 size.

Das mittlere Fach des Sekretrs hat vorne eine Blende, die mit Magnetverschlssen versehen ist. Das Fach bietet ausreichend Platz fr Mehrfachstecker, Kabel und Netzteile. Auf der oberen Ablage des Sekretrs befindet sich ein weiterer Kabeldurchlass. So kann auch das Kabel der Schreibtischlampe, dem externen Monitor oder dem Telefon bequem in das mittlere Fach gefhrt werden.

The middle compartment of the bureau has a front panel, attached with magnetic catches. This compartment is designed to accommodate mains adapter cables as well as other cables and power supplies. There is also a cable outlet in the desk work surface through which wires from desk lamps, external monitors or a telephone can conveniently disappear.

Eine zustzliche Kabeldurchlassbuchse an der Rckseite des Sekretrs ermglicht die unsichtbare Kabelfhrung entlang dem hinteren Tischbein. Mit Klettverschlssen lassen sich die Kabel ordentlich fixieren.

An additional cable outlet at the rear of the bureau enables cables to be positioned out of sight along the back of the rear leg. The cables are attached with Velcro strips.

PLANE FR ZWEI
PLANE, entworfen von Felix Stark, begeistert durch seine harmonische Formensprache. Die Kombination aus der leichten, geschwungenen Form und den gelten, weichen Kanten des finnischen Birkensperrholzes verleihen dem Bett eine natrliche Wrme. Geschwungene Auenkonturen, sichtbare Kanten und die monochromen Flchen bilden einen reizvollen Kontrast. Die ebene und flchige Form verleiht dem Entwurf auch seinen Namen. Whrend auf der oberen Nachttischablage zum Beispiel Wecker und Nachttischlampe Platz finden, bietet die untere Ebene weiteren Platz fr Buch & Co. Die optionale Box am Fuende fgt sich nahtlos in die flieende Kontur des Bettes ein und bietet reichlich Platz fr Bettzeug und Decken. Die Box ist auch als Sitzbank und Ablage geeignet.

PLANE FOR TWO

PLANE, designed by Felix Stark, impresses with its harmonious design vocabulary. The combination of its simple, sweeping shape and the oiled, soft edges of the Finnish birch plywood provide the bed with a natural feeling of warmth. Curved outer contours, visible edges and monochrome surfaces form an attractive contrast. This name of this design was inspired by its level, two-dimensional form. While, for example, the upper shelf of the integrated bedside table offers space for an alarm clock and bedside lamp, the lower level is designed as a space for books and the like. The optional box at the foot of the bed fits seamlessly into the flowing shape of the bed and offers ample space for bed linen and blankets. The box can also be used as a seat and storage surface.

PLANE EINZELBETT
PLANE ist als Einzelbett besonders ausdrucksstark. Die schne, geschwungene Form des hohen Seitenteils ist ein Blickfang und als Abgrenzung ntzlich! Die fest angebaute Doppelablage bietet Platz fr Wecker, Lampe, Buch & Mehr. In der optionalen Box am Fuende lsst sich weiteres Bettzeug verstauen. Die Box kann auch als Sitzbank oder zustzliche Ablage dienen. Das finnische Birkensperrholz mit seiner gelten und weichen Kante ist mit weier Beschichtung erhltlich.

PLANE SINGLE BED

As a single bed, PLANE is particularly expressive. The beautiful, curved shape of the high side section is a real eye-catcher and a useful space divider! The attached double shelf provides enough space for an alarm clock, lamp, books and more. Bed linen can be stored in the optional box at the foot of the bed, which can also be used as a seat or additional storage surface. The Finnish birch plywood with its oiled and soft edges is available in a white finish.

PLANE - DER SCHRANK MIT KONZEPT

Das Innenleben des gerumigen Mbels lst viele Probleme zugleich. Es bietet Platz fr die komplette Garderobe, d.h. fr Kleidung, Wsche, Anzge und sogar bis zu sechs Paar Schuhe ein Schrank fr Alles! Schuhe im Kleiderschrank? Die intelligente Belftung ermglicht dies - nur die Borten der Schuhfcher sind etwas zurckgesetzt, so dass die Luft der Schuhe durch das Griffloch herausstrmen kann. Das Innenleben des Schrankes ist auf die Wnsche des Benutzers anpassbar. Die Position und die Anzahl der Fachbden sind beliebig konfigurierbar, die Anzahl der Kleiderstangen kann ebenfalls angepasst werden. Die Innenfronten knnen rot, schwarz, wei, silber oder jede andere der 15 Standard-Farbe erhalten.

PLANE - A WARDROBE WITH FORM AND FUNCTION

New furniture units with outstanding form and persuasive functionality are the classics of tomorrow. The PLANE wardrobe has both. The lines of the doors and the distinctive fingerholes are modern, innovative, and timeless. You can also place two or more units next to each other. The interior of the spacious unit solves several problems at the same time. It has space for clothing, laundry, suits and even up to six pairs of shoes a single wardrobe unit for all your needs! Storing shoes in a wardrobe is no problem thanks to the intelligent ventilation system only the edges of the shoe compartments are set back somewhat to allow air from the fingerhole to flow through. The interior of the wardrobe can be adapted by the user to suit requirements. You can modify both - the positions and the number of shelves, as well as the number of clothes rails. The interior panels are available in red, black, white, silver or any other of the 15 standard colours.

Material Die Betten sind aus 18 mm starken Birken-Multiplexplatten mit Melaminharzbeschichtung in wei erhltlich. Multiplexplatten sind Schichtholz also Vollholz. Die Kante ist gelt, natur belassen. Doppelbetten Die Doppelbetten haben ein 750 mm hohes Kopfstck und an beiden Lngsseiten jeweils eine doppelte Ablage. Auf Wunsch ist das Bett mit Bettkasten erhltlich. Die Doppelbetten haben einen Mitteltrger mit hhenverstellbarem Fu. Die Beschlge fr die Auflage der Lattenroste sind 4-fach hhenverstellbar. Es knnen alle Lattenroste mit Rahmen verwendet werden. Die Betten werden zerlegt geliefert.

Einlegetiefe Die Einlegetiefe fr Matratzen und Lattenroste mit Rahmen betrgt: 115, 140, 165, 190 mm Die Bettkante ist 350 mm hoch.

Beds are supplied unassembled.

Mattress depth The mattress/slatted bed-base frame depths are: 115, 140, 165, 190 mm The edge of the bed is at a height of 350 mm.

Material Der Sekretr ist aus 18 mm starken Birken-Multiplexplatten mit Melaminharzbeschichtung in wei deckend erhltlich. Multiplexplatten sind Schichtholz also Vollholz. Die Kante ist gelt, natur belassen. Ausstattung Der Sekretr verfgt ber zwei Schublden, die ohne Fhrung auf Filzgleitern unter die Oberplatte geschoben werden. Die mittlere ffnung dient als Kabelversteck und wird mit Hilfe einer Blende, die mit Magneten fixiert wird, geschlossen.

Auf der oberen Arbeitsplate befindet sich eine Ausfrsung, so dass man auch von der oberen Ebene Kabel in das mittlere Fach fhren kann. Auf der Rckseite des Sekretrs befindet sich eine weitere Kabeldurchlassbuchse, so dass die Kabel auf der Rckseite entlang des Stegs hinunter gefhrt werden knnen. Der Sekretr wird zerlegt geliefert.

PLANE KLEIDERSCHRANK MIT AUFSATZ

Material Die Fronten des Schrankes sind aus 18 mm starken Birken-Multiplexplatten mit Melaminharzbeschichtung in wei deckend erhltlich. Multiplexplatten sind Schichtholz also Vollholz. Die Kante ist gelt, natur belassen. Die Korpusse und die Einlegebden werden aus einer E1 klassifizierten Spanplatte, welche allseitig mit einer weien, hochwertigen Beschichtung belegt ist, gefertigt. Diese zeichnet sich durch eine hohe Strapazier- und Widerstandsfhigkeit aus. Sie ist leicht zu reinigen. Beim Material der Kante handelt es sich um Multiplex/Schichtholz. Ausstattung Der Schrank kann Innen individuell ausgestattet werden. Es stehen verschieden groe Einlegebden, Kleiderstangen, Schubksten und eine Innentr zur Verfgung. Der Aufsatzschrank kann nachtrglich auf das Grundelement aufgesetzt werden. Die Tren und Schubksten sind mit slow-motion Beschlgen ausgestattet. Der Schrank wird zerlegt geliefert.

The edges are oiled and of natural finish. The bodies and shelves are made of E1 chipboard, with a high-quality white coating on all sides. This makes the material highly durable and wear-resistant. It is also easy to clean. The material used in the edges is plywood. Fittings The interior of the wardrobe can be modified as required. An inside door and various sizes of shelves, clothes rails, drawers are available. A top cupboard is available for retrofitting on top of the wardrobe. Doors and drawers employ slow-motion fittings. The wardrobe is supplied unassembled.
