Autorisiertes Fachpersonal
gesetzlichen Vorschriften bereinstimmen (angewandte
Normen: siehe Einbauerklrung).

Auerdem mssen folgende Informationen vorliegen:
Auslegungsdaten.
Maximal zulssige Drcke bei Stillstand und Betrieb.
Rohrleitungs- und Instrumenten-Diagramm.
Information

Hinweis!
Am Serviceanschluss des Druckabsperrventils
knnen Drcke bis zu 160bar auftreten!
Standardkomponten (z.B. Manometerbrcken,
Schluche etc.) knnen beschdigt oder zerstrt werden.
Sorgflltig vorgehen und nur fr diese hohen
Drucklagen geeignete Komponenten verwenden!
Betriebstemperaturen und Schmierbedingungen
Hinweis!
Ggf. Rcksprache mit BITZER.
KB-130-6
Regelmige Prfungen
Anlage entsprechend den nationalen Vorschriften regelmig prfen. Dabei folgende Punkte kontrollieren:
Betriebsdaten, siehe Kapitel Verdichteranlauf, Seite
11.

5 Commissioning
Information
General information and requirements, see operating instructions KB-104.
Information
Special care is required when commissioning
CO2 compressors for transcritical applications.
Due to the high solubility of refrigerant in oil, the
high pressure levels and strong pressure variations after the starting process, overload and
lack of lubrication may occur.
It is therefore necessary to observe thoroughly
the working behaviour and the operating conditions and to switch off the compressor(s) temporarily in case of abnormal conditions.
Supervise the system during the whole commissioning process!
5.1
Evacuation
Charging refrigerant
KB-130-6
23
5.2.1
Permitted refrigerant
CO2 of purity class N4.5 or comparable, or H2O
<5ppm.
The CO2 purity class can have a higher H2O level if the
system is filled using a generously dimensioned filter
drier. It is recommended to change the filter drier several times after commissioning.
Due to the high requirements regarding residual moisture, a filter drier is required when filling with CO2 of
quality level N3.0!
Filling process
Do not switch on the compressor.
Switch on the oil heater.
Do not start the charging process until the following
oil temperature has been reached: min. toil = tamb +
20K. Ideally at 35C..40C.
Use a pressure reducer and flexible filling pipelines
to connect the CO2 refrigerant bottle to the service
connections of the system (suction and high pressure side). Before tightening the screwed joints, flush
the pipelines with CO2 vapour.
Open the valves of the charging connections and
break the vacuum with CO2 from the gas phase of
the filling cylinder until an overpressure of approximately 10bar is reached. If the temperature of the refrigerant bottle is too low, it should be heated in a
water bath (water max. 40C).
Notice!
If the system pressure exceeds 10bar, make
sure that the suction and discharge shut-off
valves of the compressor(s) are closed.
For booster systems: compressors of the medium temperature and low temperature stages
are concerned.
24
Notice!
If the pressure in the intermediate pressure receiver exceeds 30bar, stop charging refrigerant!
KB-130-6
If the system pressure exceeds 20 bar in the medium temperature stage, ensure that the solenoid
valves at the evaporator are shut (de-energised)
Start the manual operation of the ventilators/water
supply of the gas cooler.
Continue to charge the intermediate pressure receiver of the system with liquid CO2 (the minimum liquid level in the container should be reached).
Notice!
If the pressure in the intermediate pressure receiver exceeds 30bar, stop charging refrigerant!
Compressor start
Notice!
Avoid strong pressure reduction in the crankcase during the compressor start and during operation!
Oil foam formation and therefore insufficient lubrication!
Information
For 2-stage, cascade or booster systems, first
commission the medium temperature stage.
Start the low temperature stage only after constant operating conditions are achieved. For
booster systems with flash gas bypass and
without internal heat exchanger for flash gas
evaporation, it is recommended to adapt the
commissioning process. An early commissioning of the low temperature stage can minimize
the influence of liquid portion in the flash gas on
the compressors of the medium temperature
stage.
After successful commissioning and charging of refrigerant, check the operating data and prepare a data
protocol:
Evaporation temperatures and high pressure see
application limits KP-130 or KP-132.
Suction gas temperature, discharge gas temperature
and oil temperature, see chapter Operating temperatures and lubrication conditions, page 26.
Switching frequency:
max. 6 starts per hour
min. time for a start / stop cycle = 10min
Current values of all phases.
Voltage.
KB-130-6
25
6 Operation
Information
The discharge gas temperature must be determined with regard to the peak pressures!
Depending on the high and low pressures, very
high discharge gas temperatures may occur
even when operating with saturated suction gas.
!
6.1
Notice!
On the service connection of the discharge
shut-off valve, pressures up to 160bar may occur!
Standard components (e.g. pressure gauge
connections, hoses etc.) may be damaged or
destroyed.
Proceed with care and use only appropriate
components for these high pressure levels!
Operating temperatures and lubrication conditions
Notice!
Operation at low pressure ratios and low suction
gas superheat results in low discharge gas and
oil temperature.
Danger of insufficient lubrication due to the high
solubility of CO2 in oil.
Continuous operation with frequencies >60Hz
reinforces this effect and should therefore be
avoided.
If necessary, consultation with BITZERis recommended.
26
Maximum discharge gas temperature: 140C, measured at the discharge gas pipeline (10cm distance
from the discharge gas connection of the compressor).
The influence of different load conditions and the application of system technologies such as flash gas
bypass on the operation conditions of the compressor must be considered and included in the calculations. If necessary, contact BITZER.
6.2
Regular tests
Check the system at regular intervals according to national regulations. Check the following points:
Operating data, see chapter Compressor start, page
25.
Oil supply, see chapter Compressor start, page 25.
Safety and protection devices and all components
for compressor monitoring (check valves, discharge
gas temperature sensors, differential oil pressure
limiters, pressure limiters, etc.).
Tight seat of electrical cable connections and
screwed joints.
Screw tightening torques.
Refrigerant charge.
Tightness.
Prepare data protocol.
Replace the pressure relief valves of the compressors after deflating because the opening pressure may be reduced after this procedure.
Check the sight glass and its joint at regular intervals
and replace them if necessary.
Check the opto-electronic oil monitoring (OLC-K1) at
regular intervals and replace it, if necessary.
Check the cylinder banks. Dismount the cylinder
head, check the valve plate and replace it, if necessary.
KB-130-6

6.3
Notice!
Risk of damage to the compressor.
Tighten screws and nuts only to the prescribed
tightening torque and, if possible, crosswise in
at least 2 steps.
Perform a tightness test before commissioning!

5 Mettre en service
Information
Surveiller imprativement l'installation durant
filtre dshydrateur largement dimensionn.

40.
Frquence de dmarrages:
6dmarrages max. par heure
dure minimale dun cycle Marche / Arrt =
10min
Valeur lectrique de toutes les phases.
Tension.

39
Information

d'tanchit!
