Installationsvoraussetzung

Eine Breitband-Internetverbindung.
Ein drahtloser (Wi-Fi) Breitband-Router ist erfolgreich mit dem Internet verbunden. Das Radio unter-
sttzt den Wireless-Standard B, G und N.
Sie kennen den WPA-Verschlsselungscode (WEP) oder den WPA-Verschlsselungscode / das Pass-
wort fr Ihr Netzwerk. Sie mssen den richtigen Code eingeben, wenn das Radio mit dem Wireless-
Router verbinden. Wenn Sie den Code / das Passwort nicht kennen, wenden Sie sich bitte an die
Person oder den Techniker, der den Router und das Netzwerk fr Sie eingerichtet hat.
Das Radio kann sich drahtlos mit dem Netzwerk verbinden (Wi-Fi-Verbindung).

Gert einrichten mit dem Setup Wizard

Schlieen Sie das Netzteil an der Rckseite des Gert an und stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose.
Das Gert besitzt es keine eingebauten Lautsprecher. Verbinden Sie es daher vor dem Betrieb ber den
3.5 mm Audioausgang mit einem externen Lautsprecher.

Das Gert untersttzt auch optische Verbindungen. Falls Sie den Adapter mit einem Get mit optischem
Eingang benutzen, verbinden Sie beide Gerte ber ein optisches Kabel.

Schalten Sie das Radio ber die

Ein/Aus-Taste ein. Das Display

So verbinden Sie das Radio mit dem WLAN

Das Radio durchsucht die verfgbaren drahtlosen Netzwerke

5 und zeigt eine Liste mit SSIDs (Name des drahtlosen Netzwerks)
an. Whlen Sie Ihre SSID mit der OK-Taste aus.

Sie werden nun aufgefordert das Passwort Ihres WLAN-Routers

einzugeben. Benutzen Sie die Pfeiltasten der Fernbedienung,
6 um Ihr Passwort einzugeben. Benutzen Sie [BKSP] wenn Sie den
zuletzt eingegebenen Buchstaben lschen wollen. Besttigen
Sie das eingegebene Passwort zum Schluss mit der OK-Taste.

Das Gert verbindet sich dann automatisch mit Ihrem Netzwerk.

Falls die Verbindung erfolgreich ist erscheint der folgende

Bildschirm. Falls die Verbindung nicht zustande kommt, kehrt
das Gert zur Passworteingabe zurck.

Rufen Sie die Systemeinstellungen

(System settings) auf, um das Gert
nach Ihren Wnschen anzupassen.

Equaliser

Der Equalizer bietet neben diversen Wiedergabe-Einstellungen auch benutzerdefinierte Einstellungen. Sie
knnen einen voreingestellten Wiedergabemodus auswhlen oder Bass, Hhen und Lautstrke selbst
einstellen. Whlen Sie dazu: Meine EQ Einstellungen (My EQ Profile Setup).

Network

Network Wizard: Sucht nach verfgbaren Netzwerken. Um Ihr Netzwerk manuell auszuwhlen, ge-
hen Sie wie folgt vor: Das Radio wird mit DHCP fr Ihr Netzwerk ausgeliefert. Wenn Ihr Netzwerk
keine DHCP-Konfiguration verwendet, whlen Sie Manuelle Einstellungen (Manual Settings), klicken
Sie auf Drahtlos (Wireless) und whlen Sie DHCP deaktivieren (DHCP disable). Geben Sie dann ihre
statischen IP-Informationen manuell ein, indem Sie Ihre Netzwerk-IP-Adresse, Ihre Netzwerkmaske,
Ihre Gateway-Adresse und Ihre DNS-Adresse festlegen. Wenn Sie nicht sicher sind, ob Ihr Netzwerk
DHCP verwendet oder nicht, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Provider.
PBC WLAN Setup: Wenn Ihr Wireless-Netzwerk-Router die WPS-Konfiguration verwendet, knnen
Sie diese Option auswhlen, um die Verbindung herzustellen.
View Setting: Hier sehen Sie die aktuelle Netzwerkeinstellung Ihres Gerts, wie z. B. die MAC-Adres-
se, WLAN-Region, DHCP, SSID, IP-Adresse und Subnetzmaske.
WLAN region: Whlen Sie die Region aus, in der Sie wohnen.
Manal Settings: Sie knnen eine statische IP-Adresse eingeben, indem Sie DHCP deaktivieren.
Network Profile: Das Radio kann bis zu 4 WLAN-Einstellungen speichern. Sie knnen die Netzwerke
anzeigen und unerwnschtes Netzwerk lschen.
Clear network settings: Sie knnen alle Netzwerkeinstellungen unter dieser Option lschen.
Keep network connected: Wenn Sie diese Option auswhlen, bleibt das Radio eingeschaltet, solan-
ge es mit dem Netzwerk verbunden ist.

Time/Date

Set Time/Date: Mit dieser Option werden Zeit und Datum manuell eingestellt.
Auto Update: Whlen Sie diese Option wenn die Zeit automatisch via DAB, FM oder Netzwerk upge-
datet werden soll oder whlen Sie No Update wenn die Zeit nicht automatisch geupdatet werden
soll. Es kann sein, dass ein Update via FM in manchen Regionen nicht klappt. in diesem Fall empfeh-
len wir Ihnen ein Update via DAB oder Netzwerk.
Set format: Mit dieser Option ndern Sie das Format der Uhrzeit auf 12 oder 24 Stunden.
Set time zone: Whlen Sie die Zeitzone der Region aus, in der Sie sich aufhalten.
Daylight savings: Wenn ihr land die Sommerzeit nutzt, whlen Sie hier ON.

Language

Das Gert beherrscht 13 Sprachen, sie knnen die Bezeichnungen im Display in eine der folgenden
Sprachen ndern: Englisch, Dnisch, Niederlndisch, Finnisch, Franzsisch, Deutsch, Italienisch, Norwe-
gisch, Polnisch, Portugiesisch, Spanisch, Schwedisch oder Trkisch.

Factory Reset

Ein werkseitiger Reset lscht alle Benutzereinstellungen und setzt das Gert komplett auf die Standard-
werte zurck. Zeit, Datum, Netzwerkkonfiguration und die Voreinstellungen gehen verloren, sobald der
Reset besttigt wird.

HINWEIS: Nachdem der Reset besttigt wurde, steht auf dem Bildschirm noch etwa 10 Sekunden Fort-
fahren (Proceed), bevor er neu gestartet wird.

Software Update

Von Zeit zu Zeit knnen wir Software-Updates mit Bugfixes und zustzlichen Features zur Verfgung
stellen. Sie knnen das entweder manuell berprfen oder vom Radio regelmig berprfen lassen.
Wenn es feststellt, dass neuere Software verfgbar ist, fragt es, ob Sie mit einem Update fortfahren
mchten. Wenn Sie damit einverstanden sind, wird die neue Software heruntergeladen und installiert.
Nach der Software-Aktualisierung bleiben alle Benutzereinstellungen erhalten. Bevor Sie ein Soft-
wareupdate starten, stellen Sie sicher, dass das Radio einen stabilen Stromanschluss hat. Unterbrechen
Sie die Stromversorgung whrend der Software-Aktualisierung nicht.

Wenn Sie diese Option auswhlen, knnen Sie das Netzwerk-Setup von neu starten.

Info

Hier sehen Sie die Softwareversion und die Radio ID fr Ihr Radio. Diese Informationen sind ntzlich
fr Sie, wenn Sie technische Fragen an die Kundenhotline haben. Dort Sie nach diesen Informationen
gefragt.

Backlight

Timeout: Mit dieser Option knnen Sie die Zeitspanne einstellen, nach der Sie die Hintergrundbe-
leuchtung Ihres Displays nach dem letzten Tastendruck einer beliebigen Taste der Fernbedienung
leuchten lassen wollen wenn sich Ihr Gert eingeschaltet ist oder sich im STANDBY-Modus befindet.
Die verfgbaren Optionen sind: Ein / 10 Sekunden / 20 Sekunden / 30 Sekunden / 45 Sekunden / 60
Sekunden / 90 Sekunden / 120 Sekunden / 180 Sekunden. Wenn Sie Ein whlen, wird die Hinter-
grundbeleuchtung des Radios eingeschaltet. Wenn Sie eine bestimmte Zeitoption auswhlen, z. B. 10
Sekunden, reagiert die Anzeige folgendermaen:

Wenn das Radio eingeschaltet wird leuchtet das Display 10 Sekunden, nachdem Sie das Gert be-
nutzt haben und geht dann aus.

Wenn das Radio in den Standby-Modus schaltet, geht die Hintergrundbeleuchtung nach 10 Sekunden
aus, wenn keine Tasten berhrt werden.

On level: Diese Option bestimmt, wie hell die Hintergrundbeleuchtung des Displays leuchtet, wh-
rend das Radio eingeschaltet ist. Es gibt 3 Optionen fr diese Einstellung: High, Medium und Low.
Dim level: Es stehen 3 Helligkeitsstufen fr eine gedimmte Hintergrundbeleuchtung zur Verfgung:
Low, Medium und High.

Radio ein- und ausschalten

Drcken Sie auf die Ein/Aus-Taste, um das Gert einzuschalten. Um in den Stand-
by-Modus zu wechseln, drcken Sie erneut auf die Ein/Aus-Taste. Im Standby-Mo-
dus werden auf dem Display Datum, Uhrzeit und aktive Alarme angezeigt, sofern
Sie welche eingestellt haben. Um das Gert wieder einzuschalten, drcken Sie
erneut auf die Ein/Aus-Taste.

Alarme

Mir der Alarm-Taste kann ein Alarm

eingestellt oder berprft werden.
Drcken Sie auf die Alarm-Taste, um
einen Alarm einzustellen. Benutzen
Sie die Pfeiltasten (hoch/runter), um
Alarm oder Alarm 2 auszuwhlen und
besttigen Sie die Auswahl mit der
OK-Taste.

Enable: Drcken Sie auf OK und whlen Sie Off (aus), daily (tglich), Once (einmalig), Weekends (am
Wochenende) oder Weekdays (an Wochentagen).
Time: benutzen Sie die Pfeiltasten (hoch/runter), um die Stunde einzustellen. Drcken Sie auf OK und
stellen Sie dann die Minuten ein.
Mode: Sie knnen auswhlen ob sie als Alarm den Summer, DAB-, FM- oder Internetradio hren
mchten.
Preset: Falls sie DAB-, FM- oder Internetradio als Alarm gewhlt haben erscheint ein weiteres Un-
termen Preset, in dem Sie eine bestimmte Station oder die zuletzt gehrte Station auswhlen
knnen.
Volume: Stellen Sie die gewnschte Alarm-Lautstrke ein.
Save: Whlen Sie Save, um die Alarm-Einstellungen zu speichern.

Sleeptimer

Sie knnen den Timer so einstellen, dass das Radio nach einer bestimmten Zeit in den Standby-Modus
geschaltet wird, von 15 Minuten bis 60 Minuten in 15-Minuten-Schritten. Drcken Sie die Sleeptimer-
Taste auf der Fernbedienung, um die Einstellung aufzurufen. Drcken Sie wiederholt auf die Taste,
um die gewnschte Timer-Option zu whlen. Das Sleep-Timer-Symbol wird in der unteren linken Ecke
zusammen mit der verbleibenden Zeit angezeigt.

Mode

Das Radio verfgt ber 5 Modi: Internetradio, Music Player, DAB-

Radio, FM-Radio und BT. Drcken Sie auf die Mode-Taste, um in
das Men zu gelangen. Benutzen Sie die Pfeiltasten (links/rechts),
um den gewnschten Modus auszuwhlen und besttigen Sie die
Auswahl mit OK. Der gewnschte Modus wird automatisch gestar-
tet.

Whlen Sie unter Modus das Interne-

Station list:
Whlen Sie diese Option, um einen

besttigen Sie die Auswahl mit OK.

My Favourites:
Erlaubt ihnen das Gert zu personali-
sieren, nachdem Sie sich auf dem Por-
tal www.wifiradio-frontier.com regist-
riert haben.

Um sich mit dem Radio beim Portal anzumelden gehen Sie in den
Internetradio-Modus und holen Sie sich Ihren individuellen Zugangs-
code ber: Radio Main menu > Station list > Help > Get access code.
Schreiben Sie sich den Code auf. Mit diesem Code mssen Sie sich
nun beim Radioportal registrieren.

dio-frontier.com auf. Gehen Sie zu
Register here links unten im Mitglie-
derbereich. Sie werden dazu aufgefor-
dert den eben erhaltenen Code und
Ihre Email-Adresse einzugeben, um die
Registrierung abzuschlieen.

 Sobald die Registrierung auf dem Radioportal abgeschlossen ist
knnen Sie eine Liste mit Lieblingssendern anlegen. Die Lieblings-
sender werden auf dem Gert unter My Favourites aufgelistet.

My Added Stations:
Falls Sie einen Sender finden der nicht in der Liste ist, knnen Sie ihn dem Radioportal hinzufgen.
Whlen Sie dazu My Added Stations auf der Portalseite. Sie werden dann aufgefordert den Sender-
namen, URL und weitere Angaben zum Sender einzugeben, bevor Sie den Sender zur Liste hinzufgen.
Sie knnen das Radioportal jederzeit aufrufen, um Favoriten und Listen zu bearbeiten. HINWEIS: Wenn
Sie im Portal neue Sender hinzufgen, achten Sie darauf, dass die eingegebene URL auf einen Audio-
stream verweist, sonst wird der Sender nicht abgespielt.

Local XXXX:
Wen Sie die Option auswhlen such der Adapter nach Sendern in Ihrem Land. Whlen Sie diese Option
um einen schnellen Zugang zu lokalen Sendern zu erhalten.

Stations:
Whlen Sie diese Option zum Abspielen von Radiosendern aus der
ganzen Welt. Die Sender werden dann nach Ort, Genre und ande-
ren Eigenschaften sortiert und aufgelistet.

Search stations:
Diese Option ermglicht es Sender oder Podcasts nach bestimm-
ten Stichwrtern im Titel zu durchsuchen. Whlen Sie Search sta-
tions und geben Sie das gesuchte Wort ein.

Option, um einen Zugangscode zu und Zugriff auf Hilfsthemen zu erhalten.

Last listened Stations:

Das Radio speichert automatisch Ihre zuletzt gehrten Radiosender. Sie knnen diese Option ber das
Internetradio-Hauptmen auswhlen und sich die zuletzt gespeicherten Sender anzeigen lassen. Dr-
cken Sie einfach die Home-Taste, um zum Internetradio-Hauptmen zurckzukehren. Die letzten Statio-
nen erscheinen am Anfang der Liste. Beim nchsten Einschalten des Radios wird der zuletzt abgespielte
Sender wiedergegeben.

System Settings:
Siehe Kapitel Systemeinstellungen.

Main Menu:
Whlen Sie diese Option, um zum Hauptmen zurckzukehren. Sie knnen jederzeit in das Internetra-
dio-Hauptmen zurckkehren, indem Sie die Home-Taste drcken.

Sender hren und abspielen

Um Infos ber den aktuell gespielten Radiosender aufzurufen, dr-

cken Sie im Wiedergabemodus wiederholt die Taste Info und Sie
erhalten weitere Informationen wie z. B: Musiktitel, Beschreibung,
Genre, Empfang, Bitrate / Codec / Abtastrate, Wiedergabepuffer
und das heutige Datum.

HINWEIS: Die Radioinformationen werden von den Internetradio-

sendern bereitgestellt und sind nur verfgbar wenn sie von den
Radiosendern bertragen werden.

Sender speichern und aufrufen

Das Radio kann maximal 10 Sender speichern. Wenn Sie den Radiosender hren, halten Sie die Preset-
Taste gedrckt, um das Preset-Men aufzurufen, und drcken Sie dann zur Besttigung die Taste OK.
Es erscheint die Meldung Save to Preset. Sie sehen die zugewiesene Preset-Nummer unteren in der
Mitte. Sie knnen das Preset auch speichern, indem Sie die Zifferntaste auf der Fernbedienung drcken,
bis Preset Stored angezeigt wird.

Um einen gespeicherten Sender aufzurufen, drcken Sie kurz auf die Stern-Taste, um die Liste mit den
gespeicherten Sendern zu ffnen. Um eine Sender abzuspielen, whlen Sie den Sender aus, den Sie
hren mchten oder drcken Sie kurz auf die Zifferntaste, unter der der Sender gespeichert ist.

Um Sender schnell abzuspeichern, halten Sie die Zifferntaste, unter der Sie den Sender abspeichern
mchten lang gedrckt. Rufen Sie den Sender ab, indem Sie kurz auf die Ziffer drcken, die Sie ihm
zugewiesen haben.

Streamen ber den Music Player

UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)

Damit der Adapter Musikdateien von einem Computer abspielen kann, mssen Sie den Computer so
einrichten, dass von extern auf die Musik- und Mediendateien zugegriffen werden kann. UPnP erlaubt
es Gerten Musik aus einer gemeinsamen Medien-Sammlung abzuspielen. HINWEIS: Stellen Sie sicher,
dass sich Ihr Computer im selben WLAN-Netzwerk wie der Adapter befindet, bevor Sie diese Funktion
verwenden.

So richten Sie den Windows Musik Player ein:

1. Wenn auf Ihrem PC Windows XP luft, verwenden Sie Windows Media Player 11 (WMP11) als Ih-
ren UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) Medienserver. Fr Windows 7 oder hher laden Sie bitte die
entsprechende Version des Windows Media Players herunter. Laden Sie die neueste Version des
Media Players von der Microsoft-Website herunter und installieren Sie sie mit Hilfe des Installati-
onsassistenten.
2. Nach der Installation erstellt Windows Media Player eine Bibliothek aus allen Mediendateien, die
auf Ihrem PC verfgbar sind.

 Windows XP/Windows Media Player 11 einrichten

Um neue Mediendateien zur Bibliothek hinzuzufgen, whlen Sie: Datei > Zu Bibliothek hinzufgen... >
Erweiterte Optionen. Klicken Sie auf Hinzufgen und whlen Sie die Dateien, die Sie hinzufgen mch-
ten. Klicken Sie dann auf OK.

Nun mssen Sie Ihr Internetradio mit dem Windows Media Player 11 verbinden und es so konfigurieren,
dass das Radio auf Ihre Medienbibliothek zugreifen kann. Um dies zu tun, mssen Sie Folgendes tun:

1. Gehen Sie ins Hauptmen des Adapters und whlen Sie Music PLayer > Shared Media.
2. Der Adapter sucht nun nach vorhandenen UPnP-Servern. HINWEIS: Die Suche kann einige Sekun-
den in Anspruch nehmen. Whrend die Suche luft zeigt das Display [Empty] an. Falls keine UPnP-
Server gefunden werden, bleibt diese Anzeige stehen.
3. Falls die Suche erfolgreich war, whlen Sie mit den Pfeiltasten der Fernbedienung den gewnschten
UPnP-Server aus und drcken Sie auf OK.

Der PC erkennt, dass der Adapater versucht sich mit ihm zu verbinden. Damit sie vom Adapter aus
Zugriff auf die Dateien des Media Players erhalten, mssen Sie im Windows media Player auf den Tab
Library klicken und Media Sharing auswhlen:

Es ffnet sich das Fenster Media Sharing. Dort wird der Adapter als Unknown Device (unbekanntes
Gert aufgelistet. Klicken Sie Unknown device, klicken auf den Allow Button und besttigen Sie die
Auswahl mit dem OK Button:

 Windows 7/Windows Media Player 12 einrichten

Falls Sie den Windows Media Player 12 benutzen, gehen Sie auf File und whlen Sie Open, um zu
den Musikdateien zu gelangen. Unter Windows 7 und neueren Versionen muss auf dem PC ein Heim-
netzwerk eingerichtet sein, damit der Adapter Zugriff auf den PC erhlt. Befolgen Sie dazu die folgen-
den Schritte:

1. Gehen Sie in die Systemeinstellungen und ffnen Sie Netzwerk und Internet.

2. Whlen Sie Heimnetzgruppe aus.

 5. Erstellen Sie ein Heimnetzwerk und whlen Sie die Art der Mediendateien aus, auf die zugegriffen
werden soll, z. B. Musik, etc.

6. Starten Sie den Windows Media Player und whlen Sie Stream > Automatically allow devices to
play my Media (deutsche Version: Streamen > Remotesteuerung des Players zulassen). Nun kn-
nen Sie Musikdateien ber den Windows Media Player streamen.

Musik via UPnP streamen

Sobald Sie den UPnP-Server (Media Player auf dem PC) so einge-
richtet haben, dass er Musikdateien im Heimnetzwerk teilt, knnen
Sie Musik vom Rechner auf dem Adapter abspielen.

ffnen Sie das Hauptmen, whlen Sie Music Player > Shared
Media. Der Adapter sucht nun nach verfgbaren UPnP-Servern.
Falls keine Server gefunden werden erscheint im Display Empty
List.

Wird ein Server angezeigt, whlen Sie den Server aus. Der Adapter
zeigt nun die verfgbaren Kategorien des Servers an, wie z. B. Mu-
sik, Playlists, etc. Whlen Sie die Datei, die Sie abspielen mchten.

Repeat Play / Shuffle Play:

Whlen Sie zwischen Repeat Play (Titel wiederholen) und Shuffle Play (Zufallswiedergabe).

Playlists:

Einige Media-Anwendungen ermglichen es, Playlists zu erstellen. Das Internet Radio ist in der Lage
diese zu erkennen und zu streamen. Dazu mssen Sie allerdings im selben Ordner wie die restlichen
Mediendateien liegen und die Dateiendung .m3u haben.

Im Windows Media Player knnen geeignete Wiedergabelisten erstellt werden. Whlen Sie dazu Crea-
te new playlist (deutsche Version: Wiedergabeliste erstellen) und ziehen Sie die gewnschten Ti-
tel einfach per Drag&Drop in die Wiedergabeliste. Gehen Sie dann auf Save as (deutsche Version:
Speichern unter), um sicherzugehen, dass das die Liste im Format .m3u abgespeichert wird. Bereits
gespeicherte Liste in diesem Format knnen jederzeit bearbeitet und erneut gespeichert werden.

Wenn das Internetradio erkennt, dass Wiedergabelisten auf dem PC existieren, wird eine neue Menop-
tion aktiviert, mit der die Wiedergabeliste ausgewhlt und zur Warteschlange hinzugefgt werden kann.

Wenn Sie wieder eine Verbindung zu einem Ordner herstellen, der keine Playlists im Format .m3u
enthlt wird die Wiedergabeliste nicht im Men angezeigt.

Clear my Playlists:

Mit dieser Option knnen Sie hinzugefgte Wiedergabelisten lschen.

 DAB-Radio-Funktionen
Sofern ein DAB-Signal zu empfangen ist knnen Sie mit dem Adapter die DAB-Radiosender in Ihrer
Nhe empfangen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Antenne vollstndig ausgefahren ist, um die maximale
Signalstrke zu gewhrleisten. Wenn der Empfang besonders gut ist, versuchen Sie die Antenne zu
bewegen und stellen Sie den Adapter so weit wie mglich auf das Fenster.

Benutzen Sie die Pfeiltasten (hoch/runter) um eine Option auszuwhlen und drcken Sie auf die Pfeil-
taste rechts oder OK, um ein Untermen aufzurufen.

Station List:
Benutzen Sie die Pfeiltaste rechts,
um die Senderliste aufzurufen. Falls
Sie zurck zum Hauptmen mchten,
drcken Sie auf die Home-Taste.

Scan:
Sucht nach verfgbaren DAB-Sendern in ihrer Region.

Manual tune:
Mit dieser Funktion knnen Sie berprfen, ob eine bestimmte Frequenz in Ihrem Bereich empfangen
werden kann und wie die entsprechende Signalstrke ist. Wenn Sie diese Option whlen, wird eine
Liste mit DAB-Frequenzen angezeigt. Whlen Sie eine Frequenz und es wird ein Balken mit der Signal-
strke angezeigt. Wenn die gewhlte Frequenz in Ihrer Region verfgbar ist, zeigt die Signalleiste die
entsprechende Empfangsqualitt an.

Prune Invalid:
Es kann vorkommen dass ein Sender seinen DAB-Betrieb einstellt oder bestimmte Sender nicht zu
empfangen sind. Um diese Sender aus der Senderliste zu lschen verwenden Sie diese Option.

DRC (Audiodynamikkompression):
Manche DAB-Sender bieten DRC an. DRC erlaubt es den Laustrkeumfang der Audiowiedergabe auszu-
gleichen, so dass sehr leise Tne etwas lauter und sehr laute Tne etwas leiser wiedergegeben werden.
Das ist vor allem dann ntzlich, wenn die Umgebungslautstrke relativ hoch ist. Folgende Optionen
stehen zur Verfgung:

DRC Off (keine Kompression)

DRC High (maximale Kompression)
DRC Low (mittlere Kompression)

Wenn Sie die Kompression auf Maximum stellen, werden die leisen Tne verstrkt, whrend die lautes-
ten Tne auf dem ursprnglichen Pegel gehalten werden.

DAB Slideshow

Der Adapter untersttzt DAB-Diashows. Wenn Bilder vom Sender mitgesendet werden, erscheint das
Bild auf dem Display. Um die Diashow zu starten, drcken Sie die OK-Taste. Das Bild wird auf die volle
Bildschirmgre vergrert. Wenn Sie zum Wiedergabebildschirm zurckkehren mchten, drcken Sie
erneut die OK-Taste.

DAB-Radio Information

Wenn Sie einen DAB-Radiosender hren, knnen Sie sich vom Radiosender bertragenen Informatio-
nen ansehen. Durch wiederholtes Drcken der INFO-Taste knnen Sie durch die verfgbaren Informa-
tionen navigieren.

FM-Radio-Funktionen
Um die FM-Funktion nutzen zu knnen schalten Sie in den FM-Modus.

Quick Scan:
Um schnell nach dem nchsten verfgbaren Sender zu scannen, drcken Sie OK-Taste. Der Scan stoppt
sobald ein Sender gefunden wird. Wenn Sie den Scanvorgang abbrechen mchten, drcken Sie erneut
die OK-Taste.

Manual tune:

Drcken Sie auf die Pfeiltaste unten, um Sender von 0,05 MHz abwrts zu suchen.
Drcken Sie auf die Pfeiltaste oben, um Sender von 0,05 MHz aufwrts zu suchen.
Drcken Sie die Home-Taste, um in das FM-Hauptmen zu gelangen.

Scan Setting:
Hier knnen Sie whlen, ob bei der Schnellscan-Option nur starke Sender gescannt werden sollen oder
auch signalschwache Sender miteinbezogen werden.

Audio Setting:
Wenn der UKW-Empfang schwach ist, knnen Sie hier whlen nur Mono zu hren.

FM-Radio Informationen
Wenn Sie einen FM-Radiosender hren, knnen Sie sich vom Radiosender bertragenen Informationen
ansehen. Durch wiederholtes Drcken der INFO-Taste knnen Sie durch die verfgbaren Informationen
navigieren.

 BT-Funktionen
1 Wechseln Sie in den BT-Modus.
2 Der Radioadapter wird automatisch von Ihrem BT-Gert erkannt. Schalten Sie dazu BT auf Ihrem
Gert ein, suchen Sie das Gert mit der Bezeichnung IAdapt280 aus der Liste und whlen Sie es
aus, um die Kopplung mit dem Radioadapter starten.
3 Wenn die Verbindung erfolgreich ist, wird Connected auf der BT-Gerteliste angezeigt.
4 Sie knnen nun Musik von Ihrem BT-Gert ber den Radioadapter abspielen.

Warnung: Die normale Funktion des Produkts kann durch starke elektromagnetische Strungen gestrt
werden. Wenn das der Fall ist unterbrechen Sie die Verbindung, wechseln Sie den Ort und versuchen
Sie die Gerte erneut zu koppeln.

 Getting Started and Setup Wizard
Please ensure the following is ready:

You have a broadband internet connection and a wireless (Wi-Fi) broadband router is connected to
the internet successfully.
The radio supports Wireless B ,G and N connection (Wireless N router can also be used with the
setting on B or G).
You know the Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) or Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) data encryption code/
password. You need to key in the correct code when the radio is connected to the wireless router for
network connection. If you do not know the code/password, please contact the person /technician
who set up the router/network for you.
The radio can work via Wireless network connection (Wi-Fi connection)

Getting Started

Connect the AC adaptor supplied in the package to the DC jack at the rear side of the radio.
The radio is an adaptor and does not have internal speaker. Prepare a powered speaker which has the
3.5mm pin to plug in to the 3.5 mm line out jack on the radio.

The radio supports also the optical connection. If you have a system comes with optical input, connect
to the optical out on the radio to listen

Switch the radio on using the

Power on/off switch. The radio

Connecting to the Wireless (Wi-Fi) Network

The radio will search the wireless networks which are available

wireless router. To enter the code, press the arrow buttons to
choose the characters, press <OK> button to confirm and skip

tab BKSP to erase the character that you just entered. After the
input is completed, scroll to the tab OK then press <OK> button
on the remote control to save the key.

The radio will start connecting to the network. If the connection

ton to exit the Setup wizard and it will
enter the main menu automatically.
Go to System Setting to do other set-
ting of your radio:

Equaliser

Adjust the sound of the music suits you best. There are presets of EQ and you can also tailor your prefer style
using the My EQ Profile Setup.

Network

Network Wizard: To scan the wireless network available, you can select your wireless network to
connect according to the steps described above. The radio is defaulted with [DHCP] for your network.
If your network is not using DHCP configuration, please choose [Manual settings] and click [Wirel-
ess], and select [DHCP disable]. Then you can input the static IP information manually by entering
your network IP address, Network Mask, Gateway address and DNS address. Note: If you are not sure
if your network is using DHCP or not, please contact your ISP to verify.
PBC WLAN Setup: If your wireless network router is using the WPS configuration, you can select this
option to do the connection.
View Setting: This is to view your current network setting of your radio, such as the MAC address,
Wlan region, DHCP, SSID, IP address and Subnet mask.
WLAN region: Select the region where you are staying at.
Manal Settings: You can choose to set Static IP by disable the DHCP.
Network Profile: The radio can save up to 4 wireless network setting. You can view the networks and
delete unwanted network.
Clear network settings: You can clear all the network settings under this option.
Keep network connected: If it is chosen to keep the network connected, the wifi remains ON when
the radio is switched to other mode of the radio.

 Time/Date

Set Time/Date: This option is to set the Time and Date manually.
Auto Update: You can choose to update the date and time by DAB, FM, update from network or No
update. Note that FM auto Time/Date update may not work in your area, so the DAB auto update
option or update from Network are recommended.
Set format: This option will change the format of your clock to either 12 hour or 24 hour.
Set time zone: Choose the time zone of the region where you are staying at.
Daylight savings: If your country has daylight saving practice, choose ON in this option.

Language

There are 13 languages available to display in the menu of your radio: English, Danish, Dutch, Finnish,
French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Polish, Portugese, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish.

Factory Reset

A factory reset will clear all user settings to default values, so time/date, network configuration and
presets will be lost after the reset is confirmed.

Note: After the reset is confirmed, it will stay on the screen Proceed for about 10 seconds before it
reboots.

Software Update

From time to time, we may make software upgrades available with bug fixes and/or additional features.
You can either check manually, or set the radio to check periodically automatically. If it detects that
newer software is available, it will ask if you want to go ahead with an update. If you agree, the new
software is then downloaded and installed. After the software update, all user settings remain.
Before starting a software update, ensure that the radio has a stable power connection. Do not interrupt
the power during software update.

Setup Wizard

Choosing this option will guide you to run the network setup from the beginning.

Info

This is to show the software version and Radio ID for your radio. This information is useful for you when
you need to report any technical issues to the help centre, you will be asked for these information.

Backlight

Timeout: This option is to set the period of time that you wish your displays backlight to remain lit
after your last touch of any key of the remote control, when your radio is in both ON and STANDBY
modes. The available options are: On/10 sec/20 sec/30 sec/45 sec/60 sec/90 sec/120 sec/180 sec.
Selecting On will force your radios backlight to remain on constantly. If you select a specific time
option, e.g.10 seconds, the display will dim down under the following two situations:

When the radio is turned on, the display will dim down in 10 seconds after you use your device.

When the radio turns off into standby, the backlight will dim down in 10 seconds if no buttons are
touched.

On level: This option will determine how bright the displays backlight is lit while the radio is on ON
mode. There are 3 options for this setting: High, Medium& Low.
Dim level: There are 3 brightness levels of the Dimmed backlight available low/medium/high.

Turning on/off the Radio

To power on/off the radio, press the Power on/off switch at the rear side of the
unit. To turn it to Standby, press the Power button. It will switch to Standby. It will
display the clock and alarm time if it is set. To turn it ON again, do the same by
pressing the Power button.

 Alarms

It allows you to set and check the

alarm time. Press the Alarm button
to set the alarm as the screen shows
below, press the arrow buttons (up/
down) to choose Alarm1 or Alarm2,
then press OK to enter the alarm set-
ting.

Enable: Press OK to set the Alarm Off, Daily, Once, Weekends, or Weekdays.
Time: Press the arrow buttons (up/down) to set the hour and then press OK to go to set the minute.
Mode: You can set the alarm sound source as Buzzer, DAB, FM or Internet Radio.
Preset: If you choose the sound source as DAB, FM or Internet Radio, then there will be an extra menu
Preset for you to choose the preset station or last listened station.
Volume: You can set the alarm sound level as you want.
Save: Press Save to confirm the alarm setting.

Sleep Timer

You can set the timer to put the radio in standby after certain time elapsed, from 15 minutes to 60
minutes with the step of every 15 minute. Press the Sleep Timer button on remote control to enter the
setting, press the same button repeatedly to choose the timer option you prefer. The sleep timer icon
will display on the bottom left corner and the time remaining before the radio goes into standby.

Mode

The radio has five modes: Internet radio, Music Player, DAB radio,
FM radio and Bluetooth. Press <Mode> button to enter the menu
of modes, display. Press the arrow buttons (left/right) to choose
the mode you want to enjoy, and then press <OK> to confirm and
enter the mode.

 Internet Radio Functions

You can choose the Internet radio

mode from the main menu, select In-
ternet Radio and it will pop up the sub-
menu as follow. If this is the first time
you set up the radio, it will navigate to
Station List for you to start.

Station list:
Select station list to access thousands
of radio stations. Use the arrow but-
tons (up/down) to choose the options
and press OK.

My Favourites:
This option allows you to personalize
your radio after you register your radio
on the Portal www.wifiradio-frontier.
com.

To register your internet radio with the Portal, please get the access
code from the path below: On the Internet Radio Main menu > Sta-
tion list > Help > Get access code. You need to become a member of
the Radio Portal in order to do registration.

How to register at the Radio Portal:

Open www.wifiradio-frontier.com.
Go to Register here at the left un-
der Member Login section. Then you
will be requested to key in the Access
code and provide your email address
to complete the registration.

 Once the registration is done, you are now ready to add your favo-
rite station to your radio on the portal, to create your favorite list of
stations. The favorite list will show on the radio, under My favorites
on the menu:

My Added Stations:
If you have found a station that is not in our list, you can add it yourself on the Portal. Choose My Added
Stations on the Portal, you will be requested to fill in the radio station name, URL..etc. in order to add
the radio. You can always go back to the Radio Portal to update your favorite list and personalize your
radio any time to make the most enjoyable list that suits you. Note: Kindly note the added URL needs to
be an audio streaming URL in order to play on this radio.

Local XXXX:
The radio will detect the radio stations in your country if you have select the . You can enjoy listen to the
radio stations in your country instantly by selecting this option.

Stations:
Choose this option to select radio stations in worldwide. It will be
classified as Location, Genre, Search stations, etc.

Search stations:
You can also search through Internet broadcasts for stations or
podcasts with particular keywords in their title. Select Search Sta-
tions, input the characters of the radio station.

 Podcasts:
There are thousands of Podcasts
available for you to choose from. Se-
lect this option to choose your favori-
te program to listen.

Help:
To register on the Radio Portal, you will need an Access code. Get the code from this Help option. You
can also get some FAQ from here.

Last listened Stations:

The radio stores your last listened radio stations, you can choose this option from the Internet Radio
main menu to view the last listened station list. Simply press the Home button to go back to the Internet
Radio menu. Most recent stations appear at the top of the list. The next time you power on your radio,
it will play the last listened stations.

System Settings:
Refer to the <System settings> section.

Main Menu:
Return to main menu by choosing this option. Whenever you want to return to the menu of Internet
radio, press the Home button.

Listening to Internet Radio station

When it is playing a radio station and under the playing screen,

press the <Info> button repeatedly and you will see more informa-
tion about the radio station such as: Music title, description, gen-
re, reliability, bit Rate/codec/sampling rate, playback buffer and
todays date.

Note: The radio information is provided from the Internet radio

broadcasters, so it is only accessible when there is such information
transmitted by the radio broadcasters.

 Preset and Recall of stations

The radio can store maximum 10 presets of stations. When listen to the radio station, press and hold the
Star button to enter the preset menu, and then press the OK button to confirm. The Save to Preset
message will appear, you can see the assigned preset number showing at the bottom center. You can
also save the preset to a dedicated number by long pressing the numeric key on the remote until it show
Preset Stored.

To recall the station, press the Star button briefly to enter the preset list, and then choose the station
that you would like to listen, or press the specific numeric key to direct access.

You can hold the numeric button to preset the stations also, and then recall the station by briefly press
the numeric button.

Streaming via Music Player

UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)

You can stream music from the Networked device which supports UPnP function to the radio to play.
For instance, most of the latest computer laptop supports UPnP, and you can stream music from Win-
dows Media Player application on the computer and listen on your radio. Please make sure your compu-
ter laptop is on the same Wi-Fi network as the Radio before you start using this function.

Music Player Setup

1. If your PC is running Microsoft Windows XP, then you can use Windows Media Player 11(WMP11) to
act as your UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) media server. (For Windows 7 or above, please download
the correspond version of Windows Media Player). The latest Windows Media Player may be down-
loaded from Microsofts website and install by following the instructions detailed in its installation
wizard.
2. Once installed, Windows Media Player will create a library from all the media files available to it on
your PC.

To add new media files to the library, select File > Add to Library> Advanced Options, Click Add and
choose the files you wish to add and click OK.

Now you need to connect your Internet radio to Windows Media Player 11 and configure it to allow the
radio to access your media library. In order to this, you will need to do the following:

1. On the radio, go to the main menu and select <Music Player > Shared Media>.
2. It will scan for all available UPnP servers. Note, this may take a few seconds for the radio to com-
plete its scan and before the scan has completed, the radio will display [Empty]. The radio will
continue to display [Empty] if no UPnP servers and found.
3. After a successful scan. Select your UPnP server, by rotating the dial if there is more than one UPnP
server, and then press SELECT.

Your PC will now prompt you that a device has attempted to connect to your UPnP server. In order to
allow the radio to have access to the media files, you will need to click the Library tab from Windows
Media Player 11 and select the <Media Sharing> item to open the Media Sharing window. Selecting

Setup Windows 7/Windows Media Player 12

If you are using WMP 12, simply go to <File> and choose <Open> to retrieve the music files you would
like to add to library. Windows 7 or above requires the PC to be set as Home network and also with the
Homegroup enabled to allow devices to access/ play the media files on your Windows Media Player.
Please find the steps below:

 Music streaming via UPnP

Once the UPnP server is configure to share media files with your
radio, you can start music streaming. On the main menu, select
<Music Player> and choose <Shared media>.

It may take a few seconds for the radio to complete the scan for
available UPnP servers. If no UPnP servers are found, it will show
<Empty List>.

After a successful scan is done, select your UPnP server. The radio
will show the media categories available from the UPnP server, e.g.
Music, Playlists etc. Choose the media files that you wish to play.

Repeat Play / Shuffle Play:

You can set the play mode as repeat or shuffle.

Playlists:

Some media ripping applications allow Playlists to be created. The Internet Radio is able to detect and
stream these playlists, but they must be stored in the folder with the rest of the Media content and they
must have the file extension.m3u.

Windows Media player can create suitable playlist, just select create new playlist, drag and drop the
tracks you want into the playlist, then use Save as to ensure the file type is .m3u. Existing play lists can
be opened and re-saved in this format.

When the Internet Radio detects you have playlists, it will enable a new menu option allowing the play-
list to be selected and added to the queue.

If you re-connect to another PC of folder, which does not have any Playlists in the .m3u. format, the
playlist option will not be presented in the menu.

Clear my Playlists:

You can delete the playlist in this option.

 DAB Radio Functions
You can enjoy the DAB radio stations in your area (if it has DAB radio broadcasting). Always ensure the
wire antenna is fully extended to get the maximum signal strength. If the reception is not the best, try
to move around the wire antenna. Place the radio close to the window as much as possible.

You can press the arrow buttons (up/down) to select different menu, and you can press the arrow but-
ton (right) or OK button to enter the sub-menu for the one has > on right.

Station List:
You can press the arrow button (right)
key to see the station list. If you want
to exit the station list, just press the
HOME button.

Scan:
To full scan the radio stations available in your region.

Manual tune:
This function allows you to check whether a specific frequency can be received in your area and the cor-
responding signal strength. When this option is selected, it will show a list of DAB frequencies. Choose
a frequency and it will display a bar of strength. If the selected frequency is available in your region, the
signal bar will indicate with number of levels depends on the reception.

Prune Invalid:
Some DAB services may stop broadcasting or you may not be able to receive a station. Prune stations
will delete the DAB stations from your station list that can no longer be received.

DRC (Audiodynamikkompression):
Dynamic Range Control (also known as DRC) can make quieter sounds easier to hear when your radio
is used in a noisy environment. This function is only available for the DAB.

DRC Off No compression

DRC High Maximum compression
DRC Low Medium compression

Setting the compression to maximum will boost the quiet sounds, whilst keeping the loudest sounds
at their original level.

DAB Slideshow

Our radio supports DAB slideshow. If there are images transmitted by the broadcaster, you will see the
image appeared on the playing screen. To start the slideshow, press the <OK> button. The image will
be enlarged to the full screen size. Whenever you want to resume to the playing screen, press the <OK>
button again.

DAB-Radio Information

When listening to a DAB radio station, you can view the information transmitted by the radio broadcas-
ter if any. Cycling through the information available by pressing the <INFO> button repeatedly.

FM Radio Functions
Switch the mode to FM.

Quick Scan:
To quick scan the next station available, press <OK> button to start. It will stop when it finds a station.
Whenever you want to stop the scan, press the <OK> again.

Manual tune:

Press the arrow button (down) to tune the frequency down by 0.05 MHz.
Press the arrow button (up) to tune the frequency up by 0.05 MHz.
Press the Home button, it will enter into the FM main menu.

Scan Setting:
You can choose whether to scan strong stations only or not when using the quick scan feature.

Audio Setting:
When the FM reception is weak, you can choose to listen in Mono only.

FM-Radio Information

When listening to a FM radio station, you can view the information transmitted by the radio broadcaster
if any. Cycling through the information available by pressing the <INFO> button repeatedly.

 BT Functions
1 Switch to Bluetooth mode.
2 The radio adaptor is now discoverable by your Bluetooth device. Turn on the Bluetooth on your
device and look up the device named IAdapt280 from the list and select it. It will start pairing with
the radio adaptor.
3 If the connection is successful, it will show Connected on your Bluetooth device list.
4 You can start playing the music from your Bluetooth device through the radio adaptor.

Warning: The normal function of the product may be disturbed by Strong Electro Magnetic Interference.
If so, simply reset the product to resume normal operation by following the instruction manual. In case

Requisitos de instalacin

Una conexin a internet de banda ancha.

Un router de banda ancha inalmbrico (Wi-Fi) se halla conectado correctamente a internet. La radio
es compatible con el estndar wireless B, G y N.
Conoce el cdigo de encriptacin WPA (WEP) o el cdigo de encriptacin WPA/la contrasea de
su red. Debe introducir el cdigo correcto si conecta la radio al router inalmbrico. Si no conoce el
cdigo / contrasea, contacte con la persona o el tcnico que ha configurado el router y la red.
La radio puede conectarse sin cables a la red (conexin Wi-Fi).

Configurar aparato con el asistente de instalacin

Conecte la fuente de alimentacin a la parte trasera del aparato y a la toma de corriente. El aparato no
cuenta con altavoces integrados. Por ello, antes de ponerlo en marcha, conecte un altavoz externo a la
salida de audio de 3,5 mm.

El aparato tambin es compatible con conexiones pticas. Si utiliza el adaptador con un aparato que
disponga de entrada ptica, conecte ambos dispositivos mediante un cable ptico.

Cmo conectar la radio a WLAN

La radio examina las redes inalmbricas disponibles y muestra

 Ajustes del sistema y funciones bsicas

Acceda a los ajustes del sistema (Sys-

tem settings) para regular el aparato
segn sus necesidades.

Ecualizador

El ecualizador le ofrece distintos ajustes de reproduccin, incluido el personalizado. Ahora puede selec-
cionar un modo de reproduccin predeterminado o ajustar de forma personalizada los graves, agudos
y el volumen. Seleccione: configuracin mi EQ (MY EQ Profile Setup).

Red

Asistente de red: busca redes disponibles. Para seleccionar una red manualmente, proceda del sigu-
iente modo: la radio se entrega con DHCP para su red. Si su red no cuenta con configuracin DHCP,
seleccione configuracin manual (Manual Settings), haga clic en inalmbrico (Wireless) y seleccione
desactivar DHCP (DHCP disable). Introduzca la informacin de IP esttica manualmente determinan-
do la direccin IP de la red, la mscara de subred, la direccin del puerto y la direccin DNS. Si no
est seguro de utilizar la red DHCP o no, contacte con su proveedor de servicios.
PBC WLAN Setup: si utiliza la configuracin WPS en el router inalmbrico de red, puede seleccionar
esta opcin para establecer la conexin.
View Setting: aqu puede consultar la configuracin actual de red del aparato, como la direccin
MAC, regin WLAN, DHCP, SSID, direccin IP y mscara de subred.
WLAN region: seleccione la regin en donde vive.
Manual Settings: puede introducir una direccin IP esttica desactivando el DHCP.
Network Profile: la radio puede guardar hasta cuatro configuraciones WLAN. Puede visualizar las
redes y eliminar aquellas no deseadas.
Clear network settings: puede eliminar toda la configuracin de red en esta opcin.
Keep network connected: si selecciona esta opcin, la radio permanece encendida mientras est
conectada a la red.

Time/Date

Set Time/Date: con esta opcin puede ajustar manualmente la fecha y la hora.
Auto Update: seleccione esta opcin cuando la hora se actualice automticamente desde DAB, FM o
la red y escoja No Update si desea actualizar la hora de forma manual. Es posible que la actualiza-
cin va FM no funcione en algunas regiones. En este caso, le recomendamos utilizar la actualizacin
va DAB o red.
Set format: con esta opcin puede modificar el formato de la hora a 12 o 24 horas.
Set time zone: seleccione la zona horaria en donde vive.
Daylight savings: si su pas utiliza horario de verano, escoja ON.

Language

El aparato cuenta con 13 idiomas, puede visualizar los mensajes del display en una de las siguientes
lenguas: Ingls, dans, neerlands, finlands, francs, alemn, italiano, noruego, polaco, portugus,
espaol, sueco o turco.

Factory Reset

Un restablecimiento de los valores de fbrica elimina toda la configuracin del usuario y restablece en
el aparato a los valores iniciales. La hora, la fecha, la configuracin de red y todos los ajustes se pierden
una vez se confirme el restablecimiento.

ADVERTENCIA: una vez se ha confirmado el restablecimiento, en el monitor aparece Continuar (Pro-

ceed) durante 10 segundos antes de reiniciarse.

Software Update

De vez en cuando tendr a disposicin actualizaciones de software con reparaciones de bugs y funcio-
nes adicionales. Puede localizarse de manera manual o desde la radio. Si determina que existe nuevo
software disponible, se le preguntar si desea continuar con la actualizacin. Si acepta, se descargar
e instalar el software. Tras la actualizacin de software se mantendrn todos los ajustes del usuario.
Antes de iniciar la actualizacin de software, asegrese de que la radio cuenta con una conexin esta-
ble al suministro elctrico. No interrumpa el suministro elctrico durante la actualizacin de software.

Software Upgrade

Esta funcin se utiliza con motivo de servicios relacionados con atencin al cliente.

 Setup Wizard

Si elige esta opcin, puede reiniciar la instalacin de la red.

Info

Aqu puede ver la versin de software y la ID de la radio para su dispositivo. Esta informacin es til en
caso de que tenga que realizar una consulta a la lnea directa de atencin al cliente. En ese caso, se le
solicitar dicha informacin.

Backlight

Timeout: con esta opcin puede ajustar la franja horaria en la que desea que la iluminacin de fondo
de su display se atene tras el ltimo contacto con los botones o con el mando a distancia cuando
est encendido o cuando se encuentre en modo STANDBY. Estas son las opciones disponibles: On
/ 10 segundos / 20 segundos / 30 segundos / 45 segundos / 60 segundos / 90 segundos / 120
segundos / 180 segundos. Cuando seleccione on se activa la iluminacin de fondo de la radio. Si
selecciona una franja de tiempo determinada, por ejemplo 10 segundos, el display reacciona de la
siguiente manera:

Cuando se enciende la radio, el display se ilumina 10 segundos despus de haber utilizado el dispo-
sitivo y a continuacin se apaga.

Si la radio se cambia al modo standby, la iluminacin de fondo se apaga tras 10 segundos si no toca
ningn botn.

On level: esta opcin determina cmo se ilumina la iluminacin de fondo del display mientras la
radio est encendida. Existen tres opciones para esta configuracin: High, Medium y Low.
Dim nivel: existen tres niveles de brillo para una iluminacin de fondo atenuada: Low, Medium y
High.

Encender y apagar la radio

Pulse el botn ON/OFF para encender el aparato. Para cambiar al modo standby,
pulse de nuevo el botn on/off. En el modo standby aparecer en el display la
fecha, la hora y las alarmas activadas en caso de haberlas. Para encender de nue-
vo el aparato, pulse de nuevo el botn on/off.

Alarmas

Con el botn de alarma puede confi-

gurar una alarma o comprobarla. Pul-
se el botn alarm para configurarla.
Utilice los botones de direccin (ar-
riba/abajo) para seleccionar Alarm o
Alarm 2 y confirme con el botn OK.

Enable: pulse OK y elija off (apagado), daily (diario), once (una vez), weekends (el fin de semana) o
weekdays (en das de semana).
Time: utilice los botones de direccin (arriba/abajo) para configurar las horas. Pulse OK y a continua-
cin ajuste los minutos.
Mode: puede elegir si como alarma desea escuchar el zumbido, la radio DAB, FM o internet.
Preset: si ha seleccionado radio DAB, FM o internet, aparecer en un submen Preset, donde puede
elegir una determinada emisora o la ltima que ha escuchado.
Volume: ajuste el volumen de la alarma.
Save: seleccione Save para guardar los ajustes de la alarma.

Sleeptimer

Puede configurar el temporizador de tal manera que la radio se active tras un determinado tiempo
en modo standby, desde 15 minutos hasta 60 minutos en intervalos de 15 minutos. Pulse el botn del
temporizador de apagado en el mando a distancia para acceder a la configuracin. Pulse varias veces
el botn para seleccionar la opcin de tiempo deseada. El smbolo del temporizador de apagado se
muestra en la esquina inferior derecha junto con el tiempo restante.

Mode

La radio cuenta con 5 modos: radio internet, reproductor de m-

sica, radio DAB, radio FM y BT. Pulse el botn Mode para acceder
al men. Utilice los botones de direccin (izquierda/derecha) para
seleccionar el modo deseado y confirme pulsando OK. El modo de-
seado se activa automticamente.

Seleccione la radio internet en el

modo. Se abre un submen. Si utiliza
el aparato por primera vez, aparece la
pantalla Station list.

Station list:
Seleccione esta opcin para elegir una

Le permiten personalizar el dispositivo

Para registrarse con la radio en el portal, vaya al modo radio inter-

net y consiga su cdigo de acceso individual en: Radio Main menu >
Station list > Help > Get access code. Anote el cdigo. Con l puede
registrarse en el portal de radio.

Cmo registrarse en el portal de radio:

Acceda a la pgina web www.wifiradio-

frontier.com. Vaya a Register here, en
la parte inferior izquierda de la zona de
miembros. Se le pedir que introduzca
el cdigo del aparato y su direccin de
correo electrnico para finalizar el re-
gistro.

 Cuando se haya registrado en el portal de radio, podr crear una
lista con sus emisoras favoritas. Las emisoras favoritas aparecern
en el aparato bajo el nombre My Favourites.

My Added Stations:
Si encuentra una emisora que est en la lista, puede aadirla al portal de radio. Seleccione Added
Stations en la pgina del portal. Se le requerir que introduzca el nombre de la emisora, la url y otros
datos de la misma antes de aadirla a la lista. Puede acceder al portal de radio en cualquier momento
para editar sus favoritos y listas. ADVERTENCIA: si aade al portal nuevas emisoras, tenga en cuenta
que la url indicada garantiza la transmisin de audio, de lo contrario la emisora no podr reproducirse.

Local XXXX:
Si elige una opcin, el adaptador busca emisoras en su pas. Seleccione esta opcin para obtener un
acceso ms rpido a las emisoras locales.

Stations:
Seleccione esta opcin para reproducir emisoras de radio de todo
el mundo. Las emisoras se clasificarn y listarn por lugar,gnero
y otras propiedades.

Search stations:
Esta opcin le permite buscar emisoras o podcast segn distintas
palabras claves en su ttulo. Elija Search stations e introduzca la
palabra que desee buscar.

A travs de internet tiene acceso a
miles de podcasts de todo el mundo.
Seleccione esta opcin para buscar
determinados podcasts.

Help:
Para registrarse en el portal de radio, necesitar un cdigo de acceso. Seleccione esta opcin para
obtener su cdigo de acceso y para acceder a temas de ayuda.

Last listened Stations:

La radio guarda automticamente las ltimas emisoras escuchadas. Puede seleccionar esta opcin
mediante el men principal de la radio de internet y visualizar las ltimas emisoras guardadas. Pulse
simplemente el botn Inicio para regresar al men principal de la radio internet. Las ltimas estacio-
nes aparecen al comienzo de la lista. La ltima vez que ha encendido la radio se reproducir la ltima
emisora que ha sonado.

System Settings:
Vase el captulo Ajustes del sistema.

Men principal:
Seleccione esta opcin para regresar al men principal. Puede regresar en cualquier momento al men
principal de la radio internet pulsando el botn Inicio.

Escuchar y reproducir emisoras

Para acceder a ms informacin sobre las emisoras de radio que

suenan en el momento, pulse el botn info varias veces mient-
ras suena la emisora para consultar datos como: ttulo de la pista,
descripcin, gnero, recepcin, tasas de bits / codec / tasa de mu-
estreo, buffer de reproduccin y la fecha actual.

ADVERTENCIA: la informacin de la radio se publica desde la emi-

sora de radio internet y solo est disponible si la emisora de radio
la transmite.

Memorizar y acceder a las emisoras

La radio puede guardar como mximo 10 emisoras. Si escucha la emisora de radio, mantenga pulsado el
botn Preset para acceder al men de preset y presione OK para confirmar. Aparece el mensaje Save
to Preset. Ver el nmero asignado de preset en la parte inferior central. Puede tambin guardar el
preset pulsando la cifra en el mando a distancia hasta que aparezca Preset Stored.

Para acceder a una emisora guardada, pulse el botn del asterisco para abrir la lista con las emisoras
guardadas. Para reproducir una emisora, seleccinela o pulse el botn del nmero en donde la ha
guardado.

Para guardar rpidamente una emisora, mantenga pulsado el botn del teclado numrico donde desee
guardarla. Acceda a la emisora pulsando el mismo botn que el ha asignado.

Transmisin de datos a travs del reproductor de msica

UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)

Para poder reproducir archivos de msica en el adaptador desde un ordenador, deber configurar el or-
denador para que se pueda acceder desde dispositivos externos a los archivos de msica y multimedia.
UPnP permite a los dispositivos reproducir msica desde una coleccin multimedia comn.

ADVERTENCIA: asegrese de que su ordenador se encuentra en la misma red WLAN que el adaptador
antes de utilizar esta funcin.

Cmo configurar el reproductor musical de Windows:

1. Si utiliza Windows XP en su PC, utilice el Windows Media Player 11 (WMP11) como su servidor mul-
timedia UpnP (Universal Plug and Play). Para Windows 7 o superior, descrguese la versin cor-
respondiente del Windows Media Player. Descargue la versin ms reciente del reproductor de
Windows Media de la pgina de Microsoft e instlelo con ayuda del asistente de instalacin.
2. Tras la instalacin, Windows Media Player crea una biblioteca con todos los archivos multimedia
que estn disponibles en su PC.

Para aadir nuevos archivos multimedia a la biblioteca, seleccione: Archivo > Aadir a la biblioteca... >
Funciones avanzadas. Haga clic en aadir y seleccione los archivos que desea aadir. A continuaci-
n, haga clic en OK.

Ahora debe conectar su radio internet al Windows Media Player 11 y configurarlo de tal modo que la
radio tenga acceso a la biblioteca multimedia. Para hacerlo, siga estos pasos:

1. Vaya al men principal del adaptador y seleccione Music Player > Shared Media.
2. El adaptador buscar servidores UpnP disponibles. ADVERTENCIA: la bsqueda puede durar unos
segundos. Durante la bsqueda, el display muestra [Empty]. Si no se ha encontrado ningn servidor
UpnP, este indicador permanecer igual.
3. Si la bsqueda ha tenido xito, seleccione con los botones de direccin del mando a distancia el
servidor UpnP y pulse OK.

El PC reconoce que el adaptador intenta conectarse a l. Para que el adaptador reciba acceso a los
archivos del reproductor multimedia, deber seleccionar en la pestaa Biblioteca de este este la
opcin Media Sharing:

Se abre la ventana Media Sharing, All aparecer listado el adaptador como Unknown device (dis-
positivo desconocido). Haga clic en Unknown device, haga clic en el botn Allow y confirme la
seleccin con el botn OK.

Si utiliza Windows Media Player 12, vaya a File y seleccione Open para acceder a los archivos de
msica. En Windows 7 y versiones ms recientes, el PC debe estar configurado en la red de hogar para
que el adaptador tenga acceso al PC. Siga estos pasos:

1. Vaya a ajustes del sistema y abra la opcin Redes e internet.

Internet. Ahora puede transmitir los archivos de msica a travs del Windows Media Player.

Transmitir msica va UpnP

Cuando haya configurado el servidor UpnP (Media Player en el PC)

para que los archivos de msica se compartan en una red de hogar,
podr reproducir msica desde el ordenador en el adaptador.

Abra el men principal, seleccione Music Player > Shared Media.

El adaptador buscar servidores UpnP disponibles. Si no encuent-
ra ningn servidor, aparece en el display Empty List.

Si se muestra un servidor, seleccinelo. El adaptador muestra las

categoras dipsonibles del servidor, como msica, listas de repro-
duccin, etc. Seleccione el archivo que desee reproducir.

Repeat Play / Shuffle Play:

Escoja entre Repeat Play repetir pista y Shuffle Play (reproduccin aleatoria).

Listas de reproduccin:

Algunas caractersticas multimedia le permiten crear listas de reproduccin. La radio internet puede
reconocerlas y transmitirlas. Para ello, deber guardarlas en la misma carpeta como el resto de archi-
vos multimedia y la extensin de los archivos debe ser m3u.

En Windows Media Player puede crear listas de reproduccin propias. Seleccione Create new playlist
(versin espaola: Crear lista de reproduccin) y arrastre las pistas deseadas a la lista mediante la
funcin Drag&Drop. Vaya a Save as (versin espaol: Guardar como) para asegurarse de que la
lista se guarda en formato m3u. Las listas ya guardadas en este formato pueden editarse en cualquier
momento y guardarse de nuevo.

Si la radio internet detecta que las listas de reproduccin existen en el PC, se activar una nueva opcin
en el men con la que puede seleccionarse la lista de reproduccin y aadirse a la cola de reproduccin.

Si crea una conexin con una carpeta que no contiene listas de reproduccin en el formato m3u, no
aparecer dicha lista en el men.

Clear my Playlists:

Con esta opcin puede eliminar las listas de reproduccin aadidas.

 Funcionamiento de la radio DAB
En cuanto reciba una seal DAB, puede recibir con el adaptador una emisora de radio DAB cerca de
usted. Asegrese de que la antena est completamente desplegada para garantizar una potencia de
seal mxima. Si la recepcin es buena, intente mover la antena y coloque el adaptador tan lejos como
sea posible de la ventana.

Utilice los botones de direccin (arriba/abajo) para seleccionar una opcin y pulse el botn de direccin
derecho o OK para acceder a un submen.

Station List:
Utilice el botn derecho de direccin
para acceder a la lista de emisoras. Si
desea regresar al men principal, pul-
se el botn Home.

Scan:
Busca emisoras DAB disponibles en su regin.

Manual tune:
Con esta funcin puede comprobar si puede recibirse una determinada frecuencia en su zona y cmo
es la potencia de la seal correspondiente. Si selecciona esta opcin, se muestra una lista con frecuen-
cias DAB. Seleccione una frecuencia y aparecer la potencia de la seal en un diagrama de barras. Si la
frecuencia seleccionada est disponible en su regin, la barra de seal muestra la calidad de recepcin
correspondiente.

Prune Invalid:
Puede ocurrir que una emisora configure su funcionamiento DAB o haya determinadas emisoras que no
se reciben. Para eliminar dichas emisoras de la lista, utilice esta opcin.

DRC (Compresion dinmica por audio)

Muchas emisoras DAB ofrecen DRC. La DRC permite equilibrar el entorno de volumen de la reproduc-
cin de audio para que los tonos bajos suenen un poco ms altos y viceversa. Esto es til sobre todo
cuando el volumen del entorno es bastante elevado. Estn disponibles las siguientes opciones:

DRC Off (sin compresin)

DRC High (compresin mxima)
DRC Low (compresin media)

Si regula la compresin al mximo, se aumentarn los tonos bajos mientras que los tonos ms altos
bajarn su nivel.

Puede seleccionar distintas emisoras por orden alfanumrico, por grupos o por validez.

DAB Slideshow

El adaptador es compatible con presentaciones de diapositivas DAB. Si la emisora comparte imge-

nes, estas aparecern en el display. Para iniciar la presentacin de diapositivas, pulse el botn OK.
La imagen se aumenta a pantalla completa. Si desea regresar a la pantalla de reproduccin, pulse de
nuevo el botn OK.

Informacin radio DAB

Si escucha una emisora de radio DAB, puede consultar la informacin transmitida por la emisora. Pul-
sando varias veces el botn INFO navegar por la informacin disponible.

Funcionamiento de la radio FM
Para utilizar la funcin FM, deber activar dicho modo.

Quick Scan:
Para realizar una bsqueda rpida de emisoras disponibles, pulse el botn OK. La bsqueda se detiene
en cuanto encuentre una emisora. Si desea detener el proceso de bsqueda, pulse de nuevo el botn
OK.

Manual tune:

Pulse el botn de direccin inferior para buscar emisoras en intervalos de 0,05 Mhz hacia atrs.
Pulse el botn de direccin superior para buscar emisoras en intervalos de 0,05 Mhz hacia adelante.
Pulse el botn Home para acceder al men principal FM.

Scan Setting:
Aqu puede elegir si solo deben buscarse en la opcin rpida emisoras con buena seal o tambin se
incluyen emisoras con seal dbil.

Audio Setting:
Si la recepcin FM es mala, podr cambiar al modo Mono.

Informacin radio FM
Si escucha una emisora de radio FM, puede consultar la informacin transmitida por la emisora. Pulsan-
do varias veces el botn INFO navegar por la informacin disponible.

1 Cambie al modo BT.
2 El adaptador de radio reconoce automticamente su dispositivo BT. Para ello, encienda el BT en
su dispositivo, busque el aparato con la denominacin DBA-03R en la lista y seleccinelo para
iniciar la sincronizacin con el adaptador.
3 Cuando se haya establecido la conexin, aparece Connected en la lista de dispositivos BT.
4 Puede reproducir msica desde su dispostivo BT al adaptador de radio.

Advertencia: el funcionamiento normal del producto puede verse alterado por interferencias electro-
magnticas potentes. Si esto ocurre, interrumpa la conexin, cambie la ubicacin e intente sincronizar
de nuevo el aparato.

Indicaciones para la retirada del aparato

Si el aparato lleva adherida la ilustracin de la izquierda (el contenedor de basura
tachado) entonces rige la normativa europea, directiva 2012/19/UE. Este producto no
debe arrojarse a un contenedor de basura comn. Infrmese sobre las leyes territori-
ales que regulan la recogida separada de aparatos elctricos y electrnicos. Respete
las leyes territoriales y no arroje aparatos viejos al cubo de la basura domstica. Una
retirada de aparatos conforme a las leyes contribuye a proteger el medio ambiente

Prrequis dinstallation

Une connexion internet haut dbit.

Un routeur haut dbit sans fil (Wifi) correctement connect internet. La radio et compatible avec
les standards sans fil B, G et N.
Lutilisateur doit avoir connaissance de la cl de cryptage WEP ou le code/mot de passe WPA du
rseau Wifi. Il faut entrer le code correct pour connecter la radio au routeur sans fil. Si le code / le mot
de passe est inconnu, prire de contacter la personne ou le technicien qui a configur le routeur ou le
rseau.
La radio doit pouvoir se connecter sans fil au rseau (connexion Wifi).

Configuration de lappareil avec lassistant dinstallation

Brancher le bloc dalimentation larrire de lappareil et brancher la fiche dans la prise. Lappareil
nest pas quip denceintes intgres. Ainsi, connecter lappareil des enceintes externes par la sortie
audio 3,5 mm avant de le mettre en marche.

Lappareil permet aussi le branchement de connecteurs optiques. Pour utiliser ladaptateur avec un
appareil entre optique, relier les deux appareils avec un cble optique.

Allumer la radio avec la touche

La radio recherche les rseaux sans fil disponibles et affiche une

5 liste des SSID (nom dun rseau sans fil). Slectionner le SSID
adquat et valider avec la touche OK.

Le mot de passe du routeur Wifi est alors exig. Utiliser les

touches directionnelles de la tlcommande pour entrer le mot

de passe. Utiliser [BKSP] pour effacer le dernier caractre saisi.
Enfin, confirmer le mot de passe saisi avec la touche OK.

Lappareil se connecte alors automatiquement au rseau

domestique. Lcran suivant saffiche si la connexion est tablie.

Accder aux paramtres systme

(System settings) pour rgler les
paramtres de lappareil sa conve-
nance.

galiseur

Lgaliseur propose, en plus des divers paramtres de lecture, des paramtres personnaliss. Il est
possible de slectionner un mode de lecture par dfaut ou de rgler soi-mme les basses, les aigus et
le volume. Pour cela, slectionner : Mes paramtres EQ (My EQ Profile Setup).

Rseau

Network wizard : recherche les rseaux disponibles. Pour slectionner un rseau manuellement,
procder comme suit : la radio est diffuse via le DHCP du rseau. Si le rseau domestique nutilise
pas de configuration DHCP, slectionner les paramtres manuels (Manual Settings), cliquer sur Sans
Fil (Wireless) et slectionner Dsactiver le DHCP (DHCP disable). Puis entrer manuellement son ad-
resse IP statique personnelle, le masque de rseau, ladresse de la passerelle et ladresse DNS. Con-
tacter le fournisseur en cas de doute sur lutilisation ou non de DHCP.
PBC WLAN Setup: si le routeur de rseau sans fil utilise une configuration WPS, il est possible de
slectionner cette option pour tablir la connexion.
View Setting : cette option permet de visualiser les paramtres de rseau actuels de lappareil, com-
me par exemple ladresse MAC, le DHCP, le SSID, ladresse IP et le masque de sous-rseau.
WLAN region : slectionner la rgion correspondant la localisation de lutilisateur.
Manual Settings : il est possible dentrer ladresse IP statique en dsactivant le DHCP.
Network profile : la radio peut mmoriser jusqu 4 paramtrages Wifi. Il est possible dafficher les
rseaux et de supprimer les rseaux indsirables.
Clear network setting : cette option permet de supprimer tous les paramtres de rseau.
Keep network connected : quand cette option est slectionne, la radio reste allume tant quil est
connect au rseau.

 Heure/Date

Set Time/Date : cette option permet de rgler manuellement lheure et la date.

Auto Update : slectionner cette option pour que lheure soit automatiquement actualise via la radio
DAB, FM ou le rseau ou slectionner No Update pour que lheure ne soit pas actualise automati-
quement. Il se peut que lactualisation via la radio FM ne fonctionne pas dans certaines rgions. Dans
ce cas, il est recommand deffecteur une actualisation via DAB ou via le rseau.
Set Format : cette option permet de rgler le format daffichage de lheure sur 12 ou 24 heures.
Set time zone : slectionner le fuseau horaire correspondant la localisation de lutilisateur.
Daylight savings : si le pays o la radio est utilise utilise le passage lheure dt, slectionner ON

Langue

Lappareil possde 13 langues ; il est possible de choisir que les descriptions saffichent dans une des
langues suivantes : anglais, danois, nerlandais, finnois, franais, allemand, italien, norvgien, polo-
nais, portugais, espagnol, sudois ou turc.
Rinitialisation des paramtres dusine
La rinitialisation des paramtres dusine efface tous les paramtres de lutilisateur et rtablit lappareil
avec ses valeurs par dfaut. Lheure, la date, la configuration du rseau et les paramtrages sont perdus
quand Reset est activ.

REMARQUE : une fois la rinitialisation confirme, lindication Poursuivre (Proceed) reste affiche
pendant environ 10 secondes supplmentaires avant le redmarrage.

Mise jour du logiciel

De temps autre, le fabricant met disposition des mises jour de logiciel avec des corrections de
bugs ou des fonctionnalits supplmentaires. Lorsquun nouveau logiciel est disponible, il est demand
lutilisateur sil veut poursuivre la mise jour. Si celui-ci est daccord, la nouvelle mise jour est tl-
charge et installe. Tous les paramtres de lutilisateur sont prservs aprs lactualisation du logiciel.
Avant de lancer la mise jour du logiciel, sassurer que la radio dispose dune alimentation lectrique
stable. Ne pas couper le courant pendant lactualisation du logiciel.

Assistant dinstallation

La slection de cette option permet de redmarrer linstallation du rseau.

Info

Cette option affiche la version du logiciel et lID radio de cette radio. Ces informations sont importantes
pour toute demande de renseignement technique par tlphone auprs du service client. Celui-ci est
susceptible de demander ces informations.

Rtroclairage

Timeout : cette option permet de paramtrer la dure souhaite du rtroclairage de lcran aprs la
dernire touche actionne sur la tlcommande lorsque lappareil est allum ou se trouve en mode
VEILLE. Les options disponibles sont : activ / 10 secondes / 20 secondes / 30 secondes 45 secondes
/ 60 secondes / 90 secondes / 120 secondes / 180 secondes. Si Activ est slectionn, le rtro-
clairage de la radio est allum en continu. Si une des options de dure prcise est slectionne, par
exemple 10 secondes, lcran ragit de la manire suivante :

Si la radio est allume, lcran reste allum pendant 10 secondes aprs utilisation de lappareil puis
steint.

Si lappareil est en mode veille, le rtroclairage steint aprs 10 secondes si aucune touche nest
actionne.

On level : cette option dtermine lintensit lumineuse du rtroclairage lorsque la radio est allu-
me. Il existe 3 options pour ce rglage : High, Medium et Low.
Dim level : 3 niveaux de luminosit sont mis disposition pour un rtroclairage modulable : Low ,
Medium et high.

Allumer et teindre la radio

Appuyer sur la touche marche/arrt pour allumer lappareil. Pour basculer en

mode veille, appuyer de nouveau sur la touche marche/arrt. En mode veille, la
date, lheure et les rveils actifs saffichent lcran sils ont t paramtrs. Pour
rallumer lappareil, appuyer de nouveau sur la touche marche/arrt.

sur la touche Alarm pour paramtrer
un rveil. Utiliser les touches directi-
onnelles (haut/bas) pour slectionner

Enable : appuyer sur OK et slectionner Off (dsactiv), daily (quotidien), Once (jour unique), Week-
ends (les weekends) ou Weekdays (jours en semaine).
Time : utiliser les touches directionnelles (haut/bas) pour rgler les heures. Puis appuyer sur OK pour
rgler les minutes.
Mode : il est possible de choisir la source sonore du rveil entre le buzzer, la radio DAB, FM ou inter-
net.
Preset : si la source sonore du rveil slectionne est la radio DAB, FM ou internet, un sous-menu
supplmentaire saffiche, Preset , qui permet de slectionner une station spcifique ou la dernire
station coute.
Volume : rgler le volume souhait pour le rveil.
Save : slectionner Save pour mmoriser les paramtres du rveil.

Mise en veille programme

Il est possible de rgler le minuteur de sorte ce que la radio bascule en mode veille aprs un certain
temps, de15 minutes 60 minutes par chelons de 15 mn. Appuyer sur la touche de mise en veille pro-
gramme (sleep) de la tlcommande pour accder au paramtrage. Appuyer plusieurs fois sur cette
touche pour slectionner loption de minuteur souhaite. Le symbole de la mise en veille programme
saffiche dans le coin infrieur gauche avec le temps restant avant lteinte.

Mode

La radio dispose de 5 modes : radio internet, lecteur audio, radio

DAB, radio FM et BT. Appuyer sur la touche MODE pour accder
au menu. Utiliser les touches directionnelles (gauche/droite) pour
slectionner le mode souhait et confirmer la slection avec OK. Le
mode souhait se met alors en marche automatiquement.

Si cette option est slectionne, ladaptateur cherche des stations mises dans le pays. Slectionner
cette option pour obtenir un accs rapide aux stations locales.

Stations :
Slectionner cette option pour diffuser des stations radio du mon-
de entier. Les stations seront ensuite tries et rpertories par lieu,
genre et autres caractristiques.

Search stations :
Cette option permet de chercher des stations ou des podcasts avec
laide de mots-cls prcis apparaissant dans le titre. Slectionner
Search stations et entrer le mot-cl recherch.

Last listened stations :

La radio mmorise automatiquement les dernires stations coutes. Il est possible de slectionner
cette option via le menu principal de la radio internet et dafficher les dernires stations mmorises.
Appuyer simplement sur la touche Home pour revenir au menu principal de la radio internet. Les der-
nires stations apparaissent en dbut de liste. La dernire station coute est diffuse au prochain
dmarrage de la radio.

System Settings :
Cf. le chapitre paramtres systme .

Main Menu :
Slectionner cette option pour revenir au menu principal. Il est tout moment possible de revenir au
menu principal de la radio internet en appuyant sur la touche Home.

couter et diffuser une station

Pour accder aux informations sur la station radio en cours

dcoute, appuyer plusieurs fois de suite sur la touche Info en
mode lecture, ce qui permet dobtenir des informations supplmen-
taires comme par exemple : titre du morceau, description, genre,
rception, bitrate / codec / frquence dchantillonnage, mmoire-
tampon et date actuelle.

REMARQUE : les informations radio sont fournies par les stations

radio et sont uniquement disponibles si elles sont transmises par
les stations radio.

 Mmoriser et diffuser une station

La radio peut mmoriser jusqu 10 stations maximum. Lors de lcoute dune station radio, rester ap-
puyer sur la touche Preset pour accder au menu des prslections, puis appuyer sur OK pour confirmer.
Le message Save to Preset saffiche. Le numro de slection attribu est visible en bas au centre.
Il est galement possible de mmoriser une station en appuyer sur les touches numrotes de la tl-
commande jusqu ce que Preset Stored saffiche.

Pour diffuser une station mmorise, appuyer brivement sur la touche toile et ouvrir ainsi la liste de
sstations mmorises. Pour diffuser une station, slectionner la station souhaite ou appuyer brive-
ment sur la touche numrote attribue la station.

Pour mmoriser rapidement une station, rester appuyer longuement sur la touche numrote que lon
souhaite attribuer la station pour la mmoriser. Slectionner la station en appuyant brivement sur le
chiffre attribu celle-ci.

Diffuser en streaming via le lecteur audio

UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)

Pour que ladaptateur puisse lire des fichiers musicaux depuis un ordinateur, il est ncessaire de confi-
gurer lordinateur de sorte ce quil soit possible daccder la bibliothque musicale et multimdia
de manire externe. UPnP permet aux appareils de diffuser de la musique depuis une collection multi-
mdia partage. REMARQUE : sassurer que lordinateur se trouve connect au mme rseau Wifi que
ladaptateur avant dutiliser cette fonction.

Voici comment configurer le Lecteur Windows Media :

1. Si le PC de lutilisateur fonctionne sous Windows XP, utiliser Windows Media Player 11 (WMP11) com-
me serveur multimdia UPnP (Universal Plug and Play). Pour Windows 7 et suprieur, tlcharger
la version approprie de Windows Media Player. Tlcharger la version la plus actuelle de Media
Player depuis le site internet Microsoft et linstaller laide de lassistant dinstallation.
2. Aprs linstallation, Windows Media Player cre une bibliothque partir de tous les fichiers multi-
mdia contenus sur le PC.

Pour ajouter de nouveaux fichiers multimdia la bibliothque, slectionner Fichiers > Ajouter la
bibliothque > Options avances . Cliquer sur Ajouter et slectionner les fichiers ajouter. Puis
cliquer sur OK

Il est prsent ncessaire de connecter la radio internet Windows Media Player 11 et de le configurer
de telle manire ce que la radio soit accessible depuis la bibliothque multimdia. Pour cela, procder
comme suit :

1. Aller dans le menu principal de ladaptateur et slectionner Music Player > Shared Media .
2. Ladaptateur cherche prsent les serveurs UPnP disponibles. REMARQUE : la recherche peut durer
plusieurs secondes. Pendant la recherche, lcran affiche [Empty]. Si aucun serveur UPnP na t d-
tect, cet cran reste inchang.
3. Si la recherche est fructueuse, slectionner le serveur UPnP souhait laide des touches direction-
nelles de la tlcommande et appuyer sur OK.

Le PC reconnat si ladaptateur essaie de se connecter lui. Pour obtenir de ladaptateur laccs aux
fichiers du Media Player, il faut cliquer sur longlet Library (bibliothque) du Windows Media Player
et slectionner Media Sharing (partage de fichiers) :

En cas dutilisation de Windows Media Player 12, aller dans File (fichier) et slectionner Open
(ouvrir) pour accder aux fichiers musicaux. Sous Windows 7 et version suprieure, un rseau domes-
tique doit tre configur sur le PC pour que ladaptateur puisse avoir accs au PC. Pour cela, suivre les

 Diffuser de la musique en streaming via UPnP

Une fois que le serveur UPnP (Media Player sur PC) est configur
de sorte ce quil partage des fichiers musicaux sur le rseau do-
mestique, il est possible de diffuser de la musique sur ladaptateur
depuis lordinateur.

Ouvrir le menu principal, slectionner Music Player > Shared

Media . Ladaptateur cherche prsent les serveurs UPnP dispo-
nibles. Si aucun serveur nest dtect, le message Empty List
saffiche lcran.

Si un serveur saffiche, le slectionner. Ladaptateur affiche pr-

sent les catgories de serveurs disponibles, comme par exemple
la musique, les listes de lecture, etc. Slectionner les fichiers lire.

Repeat Play / Shuffle Play

Choisir entre Repeat Play (rptition dun morceau) et Shuffle Play (lecture alatoire).

Listes de lecture

Certaines utilisations multimdia permettent de crer des Playlists (listes de lecture). La radio in-
ternet est en mesure de les reconnatre et de les lire en streaming. Pour cela, il faut cependant quelles
se trouvent dans le mme dossier que les autres fichiers multimdia et se terminer par lextension de
fichier .m3u .

Il est possible de crer des listes de lecture adaptes dans Windows Media Player. Pour cela, slection-
ner Create new playlist (version franaise : crer une liste de lecture ) et faire glisser simplement
les morceaux souhaits en Drag&Drop dans la liste de lecture. Puis slectionner Save as (version
franaise : Enregistrer sous ) pour sassurer que la liste est bien enregistre au format .m3u . Les
listes dj enregistres dans ce format peuvent tre modifies tout moment et tre de nouveau en-
registres.

Lorsque la radio dtecte que le PC contient des listes de lecture, une nouvelle option de menu est ac-
tive qui permet de slectionner des listes de lecture et de les ajouter dans la file dattente.
Quand un lien est cr vers un dossier ne contenant pas de listes de lecture au format .m3u , la liste
de lecture ne saffiche pas dans le menu.

Clear my Playlists

Cette option permet de supprimer des listes de lecture prcdemment ajoutes.

 Fonctions de la radio DAB
partir du moment o un signal DAB est disponible, il est possible de capter les stations radio DAB
locales avec ladaptateur. Veiller ce que lantenne soit compltement sortie pour garantir la rception
optimale du signal. Si la rception nest pas particulirement bonne, essayer de bouger lantenne et
placer ladaptateur le plus prs possible de la fentre.

Utiliser les flches directionnelles (haut/bas) pour slectionner une option et appuyer sur la touche
directionnelle droite ou sur OK pour accder au sous-menu.

Station List :
Utiliser la touche directionnelle droi-
te pour afficher la liste des stations.
Pour revenir au menu principal, ap-
puyer sur la touche Home.

Scan :
Recherche les stations DAB disponibles de la rgion.

Manual tune :
Cette fonction permet de vrifier quil est possible de capter une certaine frquence lemplacement
o lon se trouve et quelle est la force du signal. Une liste des frquences DAB saffiche lorsque cette
option est slectionne. Slectionner une frquence ; une barre saffiche pour indiquer la force du sig-
nal. Si la frquence slectionne est disponible dans la rgion, la barre de signal indique la qualit de
rception correspondante.

Prune invalid :
Il peut arriver quune station modifie son rglage DAB ou quil soit impossible de capter une station en
particulier. Utiliser cette option pour supprimer une station de la liste des stations.

DRC (compression dynamique audio) :

Certaines stations DAB proposent un DRC. Le DRC permet dquilibrer le volume de la diffusion sonore
en augmentant quelque peu le volume des sons faibles et en diminuant quelque peu celui des sons
forts. Ceci est particulirement utile dans les environnements relativement bruyants. Les options su-
ivantes sont disponibles :

DRC Off (aucune compression)

DRC High (compression maximale)
DRC Low (compression moyenne)

Lorsque la compression est rgle au maximum, les sons faibles sont renforcs tandis que les sons
forts sont ramens leur niveau dorigine.

DAB Slideshow

Ladaptateur permet les diaporamas DAB. Si des images sont transmises avec les stations, elles appa-
raissent lcran. Pour dmarrer le diaporama, appuyer sur la touche OK. Limage est alors agrandie
la taille de lcran. Pour revenir lcran de lecture, appuyer de nouveau sur la touche OK.

Informations sur la radio DAB

Pendant lcoute de stations DAB, il est possible de visualiser les informations transmises par la station
radio. Appuyer plusieurs fois sur la touche INFO pour parcourir les informations disponibles.

Fonctions de la radio FM
Pour utiliser la fonction FM, basculer en mode FM.

Quick Scan :
Pour effectuer une recherche rapide des stations disponibles, appuyer sur la touche OK. La recherche
sarrte lorsquune station est dtecte. Pour interrompre la recherche, appuyer de nouveau sur la tou-
che OK.

Manual tune :

Appuyer sur la touche directionnelle du bas pour effectuer une recherche arrire par paliers de 0,05 MHz.
Appuyer sur la touche directionnelle du haut pour effectuer une recherche avant par paliers de 0,05 MHz.
Appuyer sur la touche Home pour revenir au menu principal FM.

Scan Setting :
Ce sous-menu permet de choisir si seules les stations fort signal doivent tre recherches lors de la
recherche rapide ou si les stations faible signal doivent galement tre prises en compte.

Audio Setting :
Si la rception FM est faible, il est ici possible de choisir dcouter la radio uniquement en mono.

Informations sur la radio FM :

Pendant lcoute dune station radio FM, il est possible de visualiser les informations transmises par
la station radio. Appuyer plusieurs fois sur la touche INFO pour parcourir les informations disponibles.

1 Basculer en mode BT.
2 Ladaptateur radio est automatiquement reconnu par lappareil BT de lutilisateur. Pour cela, activer
BT sur lappareil, reprer lappareil nomm DBA-03R dans la liste et le slectionner pour dmar-
rer le couplage avec ladaptateur radio.
3 Lorsque la connexion est tablie, Connected saffiche dans la liste des appareils BT.
4 Il est prsent possible de diffuser la musique depuis lappareil BT via ladaptateur radio.

Avertissement : le fonctionnement normal du produit peut tre entrav par de fortes perturbations
lectromagntiques. Si tel est le cas, interrompre la connexion, changer demplacement et tenter de
nouveau de coupler les appareils.

Presupposti per linstallazione

Una connessione internet a banda larga.

Un router senza fili (Wi-Fi) a banda larga collegato a Internet. La radio supporta lo standard wireless
B, G e N.
Si dispone del codice di crittografia WPA (WEP) o del codice di crittografia WPA / la password per la
rete. E necessario inserire il codice se si connette la radio al router. Se non si dispone del codice /
della password, rivolgersi al tecnico che ha installato la rete.
La radio pu collegarsi alla rete senza fili (collegamento Wi-Fi).

Installare il dispositivo con Setup Wizard

Collegare lalimentatore al retro del dispositivo e inserire la spina nella presa. Il dispositivo dotato
di altoparlanti integrati. Collegare il dispositivo prima della messa in funzione ad altoparlanti esterni
tramite unuscita audio da 3,5 mm.

Il dispositivo supporta anche collegamenti ottici. Se si utilizza un adattatore con un dispositivo con
ingresso ottico, collegare entrambi i dispositivi tramite il cavo ottico.

Accendere la radio tramite il tasto

1 on/off. Il display si accende e

 Impostazioni di sistema e funzioni di base

Accedere alle impostazioni di sistema

(System settings) per impostare il dis-
positivo a piacimento.

Equalizzatore

Lequalizzatore offre diverse impostazioni per la riproduzione anche definite dallutente. E possibile
selezionare una modalit di riproduzione predefinita oppure i bassi, gli alti e il volume. Selezionare: Le
mie impostazioni EQ (My EQ profile Setup).

Rete

Network Wizard: ricerca le reti disponibili. Per selezionare manualmente la rete, procedere nel se-
guente modo: nella radio incluso il DHCP per la rete. Se la rete non usa la configurazione DHCP,
selezionare le impostazioni manuali (Manual Settings), fare clic su Wireless e selezionare disabilita
DHCP (DHCP disable). Quindi inserire i dati IP manualmente impostando lindirizzo IP di rete, la ma-
schera di rete, lindirizzo gateway e lindirizzo DNS. In caso di dubbi, contattare il proprio fornitore.
PBC WLAN Setup: se il router della rete wireless utilizza la configurazione WPS, possibile selezio-
nare questa opzione per effettuare la connessione.
View Setting: possibile vedere le impostazioni di rete attuali del dispositivo, come ad esempio
lindirizzo MAC, la regione wireless, il DHCP, SSID, l indirizzo IP e la maschera di rete.
WLAN Region: selezionare la regione in cui si vive.
Manual Settings: possibile impostare un indirizzo IP statico disattivando il DHCP.
Network Profile: la radio pu memorizzare fino a 4 impostazioni wireless. possibile vedere le reti
ed eliminare la rete indesiderata.
Clear network settings: possibile eliminare tutte le impostazioni di rete.
Keep network connected: se si seleziona questa opzione, la radio rimane accesa fino a quando
collegata alla rete.

Ora / Data

Set Time/Date: con questa opzione si possono impostare manualmente ora e data.
Auto Update: selezionare questa opzione per aggiornare automaticamente lora tramite DAB, FM
o rete oppure selezionare No Update se lora non deve essere aggiornata automaticamente. Pu
accadere che un aggiornamento tramite FM in alcune regioni non funzioni. In questo caso si consiglia
un aggiornamento tramite DAB o rete.
Set format: con questa opzione si modifica il formato dellora (12 o 24 ore).
Set time zone: selezionare il fuso orario della propria regione.
Daylight savings: selezionare ON per attivare lora legale.

Lingua

E possibile selezionare una delle seguenti 13 lingue: inglese, danese, olandese, finlandese, francese,
tedesco, italiano, norvegese, polacco, portoghese, spagnolo, svedese o turco.

Ripristino impostazioni di sistema

Lopzione cancella tutte le impostazioni dellutente e ripristina completamente il dispositivo il quale

torna alle impostazioni predefinite. Lora, la data, la configurazione di rete e le impostazioni predefinite
verranno perse una volta che il ripristino confermato.

NOTA: dopo che il reset stato confermato, sullo schermo appare per circa 10 secondi Continua (Pro-
ceed) prima di essere riavviato.

Software Update

Di tanto in tanto vengono forniti aggiornamenti software e con funzionalit aggiuntive. possibile
controllare regolarmente ci manualmente oppure dalla radio. Se viene rilevato che disponibile un
software pi recente, viene chiesto se si desidera procedere con un aggiornamento. In questo caso, il
nuovo software verr scaricato e installato. Dopo laggiornamento del software, tutte le impostazioni
dellutente vengono mantenute. Prima di iniziare un aggiornamento software, assicurarsi che la radio
abbia unalimentazione stabile. Non interrompere lalimentazione durante laggiornamento del soft-
ware.

Backlight

Timeout: questa opzione consente di impostare il tempo dopo il quale si accende la retroilluminazio-
ne del display. Le opzioni disponibili sono: On / 10 secondi / 20 secondi / 30 secondi / 45 secondi /
60 secondi / 90 secondi / 120 secondi / 180 secondi. Se si seleziona on, la retroilluminazione della
radio accesa. Appena si seleziona unopzione, ad esempio 10 secondi, il display reagisce nel modo
seguente:

Quando si accende la radio, il display si illumina per 10 secondi dopo che si utilizzata la radio e poi
si spegne.

Quando la radio passa in modalit standby, la retroilluminazione si spegne dopo 10 secondi se non
viene premuto alcun tasto.

On level: questa opzione determina la luminosit della retroilluminazione del display quando la
radio accesa. Sono disponibili 3 opzioni per questa impostazione: alta, media e bassa.
Livello Dim: sono disponibili 3 livelli di luminosit per la retroilluminazione: bassa, media e alta.

Accendere/spegnere la radio

Premere il tasto On / Off per accendere il dispositivo. Per passare alla modalit
standby, premere il tasto On / Off. In modalit standby, vengono visualizzate la
data, lora e le sveglie attive. Per accendere di nuovo il dispositivo, premere il
tasto On / Off.

Sveglie

Con il tasto Alarm possibile im-

postare la sveglia oppure verificare se
questa attiva. Premere il tasto Alarm
per impostare la sveglia. Utilizzare i
tasti freccia (su/gi) per selezionare
Alarm oppure Alarm 2 e confermare
la scelta con il tasto OK.

Enable: premere OK e selezionare Off (spento), daily (tutti i giorni), once (una volta), weekends (fine
settimana) o weekdays (giorni feriali).
Time: utilizzare i tasti freccia (su/gi) per impostare lora. Premere OK e impostare i minuti.
Mode: possibile scegliere se si intende impostare come sveglia la vibrazione, la radio Internet DAB
o FM.
Preset: se stata impostata la radio DAB, FM o la Internet radio come sveglia, appare un altro sot-
tomenu Preset dove possibile selezionare una particolare stazione o lultima stazione ascoltata.
Volume: impostare il volume della sveglia.
Save: selezionare Save per salvare le impostazioni della sveglia.

Sleep timer

possibile impostare il timer in modo che la radio passi in modalit standby dopo un certo tempo. Il
tempo impostabile va da 15 minuti a 60 minuti. Premere il tasto Sleep Timer sul telecomando per ac-
cedere allimpostazione. Premere ripetutamente il tasto per selezionare lopzione timer desiderata. Il
simbolo dello Sleep timer appare nellangolo in basso a sinistra con il tempo rimanente.

Mode

La radio dispone di 5 modalit: Internet Radio, Music Player, Radio

DAB, Radio FM e FM. Premere il tasto Mode per accedere al menu.
Utilizzare i tasti freccia (sinistra/destra) per selezionare la modalit
desiderata e confermare la scelta con OK. La modalit desiderata
viene avviata automaticamente.

questo codice possibile registrarsi al portale Radio.

com. Andare su Register here in bas-
so a sinistra. Viene richiesto di inserire
il codice appena ricevuto e lindirizzo

 Al termine della registrazione sul portale radio, possibile creare
una lista con i canali preferiti. I canali preferiti vengono elencati sul
dispositivo in My Favourites.

My added Stations:
Se si trova una stazione che non nella lista, possibile aggiungerla al portale radio. Per fare ci, se-
lezionare My added stations sulla pagina del portale. Prima di aggiungere il canale allelenco, verr
richiesto di inserire il nome della stazione, di immettere lURL e maggiori informazioni sul canale.
possibile accedere al portale radio in qualsiasi momento per modificare la lista dei preferiti. NOTA: se
si aggiungono nuovi canali nel portale, assicurarsi che lURL inserita rimandi ad un streaming audio,
altrimenti il canale non pu essere riprodotto.

Local XXXX:
Se si sceglie questa opzione, il dispositivo cerca stazioni nel proprio paese. Selezionare questa opzione
per ottenere un rapido accesso ai canali locali.

Stations:
Selezionare questa opzione per riprodurre canali radio da tutto il
mondo. I canali vengono raggruppati ed elencati per luogo, genere
e altre caratteristiche.

Search stations:
Qesta opzione consente di cercare canali o podcast in base a de-
terminate parole chiave contenute nel titolo. Selezionare Search
station e inserire la parola cercata.

per cercare determinati podcast.

Help:
Per registrarsi al portale radio necessario avere un codice di accesso. Selezionare questa opzione per
ricevere un codice di accesso ed accedere.

Last listened Stations:

La radio memorizza automaticamente lultima stazione radio ascoltata. possibile selezionare questa
opzione nel menu principale della Internet radio e visualizzare lultima stazione memorizzata. Premere il
tasto Home per tornare al menu principale. Le ultime stazioni appaiono in cima alla lista. Allaccensione
successiva della radio, viene riprodotta lultima stazione riprodotta.

System settings:
Vedere la sezione Impostazioni di sistema.

Main Menu:
Selezionare questa opzione per tornare al menu principale. Si pu tornare in qualsiasi momento al
menu principale della Internet radio premendo il tasto Home.

Ascoltare e riprodurre i canali

Per accedere alle informazioni relative alle stazioni radio attual-

mente riprodotte, premere ripetutamente in modalit di riprodu-
zione Info per avere informazioni aggiuntive come ad esempio:
brano musicale, descrizione, genere, ricezione, bit rate/codec/sam-
pling rate, buffer di riproduzione e data odierna.

NOTA: le informazioni della radio sono fornite dalle stazioni radio

Internet e sono disponibili solo se sono trasmesse dalle stazioni
radio.

Memorizzare e accedere ai canali

La radio pu memorizzare massimo 10 canali. Se si ascolta il canale radio, tenere premuto il tasto preset
per accedere al menu preset e premere il tasto OK per confermare. Appare lavviso Save to Preset. Il
numero preset assegnato visibile in basso al centro. E possibile anche memorizzare il preset premen-
do i tasti numerici sul telecomando fino a quando appare Preset Stored.

Per accedere rapidamente ad un canale, premere brevemente il tasto con raffigurata la stella per aprire
la lista dei canali memorizzati. Per riprodurre un canale, selezionarlo e premere brevemente il tasto
corrispondente al canale.

Per memorizzare rapidamente un canale, tenere premuto il tasto numerico che si intende far corrispon-
dere al canale. Accedere al canale premendo il tasto numerico che gli stato assegnato.

Streaming tramite il Music Player

UPnP (Universal Plug and Play)

Affinch il dispositivo possa riprodurre file musicali su un computer, necessario impostare il computer
in modo che possa accedere dallesterno ai file musicali e multimediali. LUPnP consente ai dispositivi
di riprodurre la musica da una raccolta multimediale comune. NOTA: assicurarsi che il computer si trovi
nella stessa rete wireless del dispositivo, prima di utilizzare questa funzione.

Installare Windows Music Player:

1. Se sul PC installato Windows XP, utilizzare Windows Media Player 11 (WMP11) come UPnP (Univer-
sal Plug and Play). Per Windows 7 o una versione superiore, scaricare la versione adatta di Windows
Media Player dal sito web della Microsoft e installarlo utilizzando la procedura guidata di installa-
zione.
2. Dopo aver installato Windows Media Player, creare una biblioteca multimediale di tutti i file multi-
mediali disponibili sul PC.

Per aggiungere nuovi file multimediali alla biblioteca multimediale, selezionare File> Aggiungi alla bib-
lioteca ...> Opzioni avanzate. Fai clic su Aggiungi e selezionare i file che si desidera aggiungere. Quindi
cliccare su OK.

Ora necessario collegare la Internet radio con Windows Media Player 11 e configurarla in modo che la
radio possa accedere alla biblioteca multimediale. Per fare questo, necessario:

1. Andare nel menu principale del dispositivo e selezionare Music Player> Shared Media.
2. Il dispositivo esegue la scansione dei server UPnP disponibili. NOTA: La ricerca pu richiedere alcu-
ni secondi. Durante la ricerca sul display compare [Empty]. Se non vengono trovati server UPnP, sul
display continua a comparire [Empty].
3. Se la ricerca avvenuta con successo, selezionare con i tasti freccia del telecomando il server UPnP
desiderato e premere OK.

Il PC riconosce che il dispositivo sta cercando di connettersi con esso. Per ottenere laccesso ai file del
Media Player dal dispositivo, cliccare nel Windows Media Player sulla scheda Library e selezionare
Media Sharing:

Si apre la finestra Media Sharing. Qui viene elencato il dispositivo come Unknown device (dispositi-
vo sconosciuto). Cliccare su Allow e confermare la selezione con il tasto OK.

Se si utilizza Windows Media Player 12, andare su File e selezionare Apri per accedere ai file musicali.
In Windows 7 e nelle versioni pi recenti deve essere creata una rete domestica sul PC, in modo che il
dispositivo abbia accesso al PC. Seguire la seguente procedura:

1. Andare in impostazioni di sistema e aprire Rete e Internet.

2. Selezionare il gruppo rete domestica.

 5. Creare una rete domestica e selezionare i file multimediali ai quali accedere come ad esempio mu-
sica etc.

6. Avviare Windows Media Player e selezionare Stream > Automatically allow devices to play my
Media. Ora i dati possono essere riprodotti tramite Windows Media Player.

Streaming audio tramite UPnP

Appena il server UPnP (Media Player sul computer) installato in

modo che possa condividere i file musicale nella rete domestica,
possibile riprodurre la musica dal computer sul dispositivo.

Aprire il menu principale, selezionare Music Player > Shared Me-

dia. Il dispositivo cerca ora i server UPnP disponibili. Se questi non
vengono trovati, sul display appare Empty List.

Se appare un server, selezionarlo. Il dispositivo ora mostra le cate-

gorie disponibili del server come ad esempio musica, playlist, ecc.
Selezionare i file da riprodurre.

Repeat Play / Shuffle Play:

Selezionare Repeat Play (ripetere il brano) e Shuffle Play (riproduzione casuale).

Playlists:

Alcune applicazioni multimediali consentono la creazione di playlist. La Internet radio in grado di

rilevarle e di riprodurle. Tuttavia devono trovarsi nella stessa cartella come il resto dei file multimediali
e avere lestensione .m3u.

Con Windows Media Player possono essere create liste di riproduzione. Per fare ci, selezionare Crea-
te new playlist e trascinare i brani desiderati nella lista di riproduzione. Andare poi su Save as per es-
sere certi che la lista venga memorizzata nel formato lista .m3u. Le liste gi salvate in questo formato
possono essere sempre modificate e salvate di nuovo.

Appena la Internet Radio rileva le playlist presenti sul PC, viene attivata una nuova opzione con la quale
la playlist viene selezionata e aggiunta.

Se si crea di nuovo una connessione ad una cartella che non contiene playlist nel formato .m3u, la
playlist non appare nel menu.

Clear my Playlists:

Con questa opzione possibile cancellare le playlist aggiunte.

 Funzioni DAB-Radio
Appena possibile la ricezione di un segnale DAB, si possono ricevere stazioni radio DAB nelle vicinan-
ze. Assicurarsi che lantenna sia completamente estesa per avere la massima ricezione. Se la ricezione
scarsa, provare a spostare lantenna e avvicinare il pi possibile il dispositivo alla finestra.

Utilizzare i tasti freccia (su/gi) per selezionare unopzione e premere il tasto freccia destra oppure OK
per aprire un sottomenu.

Station List:
Utilizzare i tasti freccia di destra per
accedere alla lista dei canali. Per tor-
nare indietro nel menu, premere il
tasto Home.

Scan:
Ricerca le stazioni DAB disponibili nella propria zona.

Manual tune:
Con questa funzione possibile controllare se una particolare frequenza pu essere ricevuta nella zona
dellutente e quale la potenza corrispondente. Se si sceglie questa opzione, viene visualizzato un
elenco di frequenze DAB. Selezionare una frequenza: appare un diagramma con la potenza del segnale.
Se la frequenza selezionata disponibile nella zona dellutente, la barra del segnale indica la qualit
di ricezione corrispondente.

Prune Invalid:
Pu succedere che alcuni servizi DAB non vengano trasmessi o che alcuni canali non abbiano ricezione.
Utilizzare questa opzione per eliminare questi canali dallelenco.

DRC (Compressione del livello audio):

Alcuni canali DAB offrono il DRC. Il DRC consente di compensare il volume della riproduzione audio in
modo che i suoni pi bassi vengano riprodotti pi forti e viceversa. Ci particolarmente utile in caso di
ambiente rumoroso. Sono disponibili le seguenti opzioni:

DRC Off (nessuna compressione)

DRC High (massima compressione)
DRC Low (compressione media)

Se si imposta la compressione massima, i suoni bassi vengono amplificati, mentre i suoni pi forti ven-
gono mantenuti al livello originale.

DAB Slideshow:
Il dispositivo supporta le diashows DAB. Quando le immagini vengono trasmesse dal canale, limmagine
viene visualizzata sul display. Per avviare le diashows, premere il tasto OK. Limmagine viene ingrandita
a schermo intero. Per tornare alla schermata di riproduzione, premere OK.

DAB-Radio Information:
Durante lascolto di una stazione radio DAB, si possono visualizzare le informazioni trasmesse dalla
stazione radio. Premendo ripetutamente il tasto INFO, possibile navigare attraverso le informazioni
disponibili.

Funzioni FM Radio
Per utilizzare la funzione FM, passare alla modalit FM.

QuickScan:
Per eseguire la scansione in modo rapido, premere il tasto OK. La scansione si fermer appena viene
trovata una stazione. Per annullare la scansione, premere il tasto OK.

Manual tune:

Premere il tasto freccia gi per cercare i canali da 0,05 MHz verso il basso.
Premere il tasto freccia su per cercare i canali da 0,05 MHz verso lalto.
Premere il tasto Home per accedere al menu principale FM.

Scan setting:
E possibile scegliere se durante la scansione rapida devono essere cercati solo canali con ricezione
forte oppure anche quelli con segnale debole.

Audio setting:
Se la ricezione FM debole, possibile scegliere di ascoltare solo in mono.

Informazioni Radio FM
Durante lascolto di una stazione radio FM, si possono visualizzare le informazioni. Premere ripetuta-
mente il tasto INFO per navigare attraverso le informazioni disponibili.

 Funzioni BT
1 Passare in modalit BT.
2 Il dispositivo viene riconosciuto automaticamente dal dispositivo BT. Accendere il BT sul dispositi-
vo, cercare il dispositivo con la scritta DBA-03R dalla lista e selezionarlo per eseguire il collega-
mento.
3 Quando la connessione avvenuta con successo, appare Connected sulla lista dei dispositivi BT.
4 Ora possibile riprodurre la musica dal dispositivo BT tramite la radio.

Attenzione: le onde elettromagnetiche possono causare interferenze. In questo caso interrompere la

connessione, spostarsi e cercare di eseguire di nuovo il collegamento tra i dispositivi.

Smaltimento
Se sul prodotto presente la figura a sinistra (il cassonetto dei rifiuti mobile sbarra-
to), si applica la direttiva europea 2012/19/UE. Questi prodotti non possono essere
smaltiti con i rifiuti normali. Informarsi sulle disposizioni vigenti in merito alla raccol-
ta separata di dispositivi elettrici ed elettronici. Non smaltire i vecchi dispositivi con i
rifiuti domestici. Grazie al corretto smaltimento dei vecchi dispositivi, si proteggono
il pianeta e la salute delle persone da possibili conseguenze negative. Il riciclo di
materiali aiuta a ridurre il consumo di materie prime.

Il prodotto contiene batterie che in base alla direttiva europea 2006/66/CE non possono essere smalti-
te con i normali rifiuti domestici. Informarsi sulle disposizioni vigenti relative alla raccolta differenziata
