1. Einleitung

Die AS-Interface E/A-Anschlusseinheit Best.-Nr. 527427 erlaubt den

Anschluss digitaler Sensoren und Aktoren mit 24 V DC-Signalen an ein
AS-Interface-Netz. Die Einheit enthält 2 AS-Interface-Module mit je 4
digitalen Ein- und Ausgängen. Jeder dieser beiden Module wird als ein
AS-Interface-Slave verwendet und hat eine eigene Adresse.

2. Aufbau und Funktion

Die Einheit im ER-Format ist für den Einsatz in den Aufnahmerahmen

des Festo Didactic Labormöbelsystems, auf der blauen Stecktafel oder
Profilplatte bzw. als Tischgerät geeignet und besteht aus folgenden
Komponenten:
• 2 x AS-Interface Slimlinemodul S45, digital

Die Spannungsversorgung muss über eine externe 24 V DC-Quelle

erfolgen. Dafür bieten sich die Netzgeräte von Festo Didactic an, die als
Einschubvariante für den ER-Aufnahmerahmen oder als Tischvariante
verfügbar sind.
Für den Einsatz auf der Profilplatte sind 4 Adapter (Best.-Nr. 323571)
notwendig.
Die digitalen Ein- und Ausgänge sind auf einen SysLink-Stecker
(IEEE 488) verdrahtet. Die Pin-Belegung entspricht der SysLink-
Schnittstelle des Modularen Produktionssystems (MPS) von Festo
Didactic.

Die Slave-Adressen sind auf 2 und 3 voreingestellt. Zur Adressänderung

ist ein ASi-Adressiergerät notwendig.

Achtung Eine Adressenänderung ist max. 15-mal möglich.

Zur Verbindung der Einheit mit ASi-Master, ASi-Stromversorgung bzw.

7. Sicherheitshinweise

Die ASi-E/A-Anschlusseinheit ist nach dem heutigen Stand der Technik

und den anerkannten sicherheitstechnischen Regeln gebaut. Dennoch
können bei dessen unsachgemäßer Verwendung Gefahren für Leib und
Leben des Benutzers oder Dritter und Beeinträchtigungen der Einheit
entstehen. Das Gerät ist daher nur zu benutzen
• für die bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung im Lehr- und
Ausbildungsbetrieb
• in sicherheitstechnisch einwandfreiem Zustand

Störungen, die die Sicherheit beeinträchtigen können, sollten beim

Schulungsbetrieb nicht erzeugt werden und sind umgehend zu
beseitigen.

1. Introduction

The AS-interface I/O terminal unit Order No. 527427 permits the
connection of digital sensors and actuators with 24 V DC signals to an
AS-interface network. The unit contains 2 AS-interface modules with
4 digital inputs and outputs each. Each of these two modules is used as
an AS-interface slave and has its own address.

2. Design and function

The unit in ER format is suitable for use on the cabinet frames of the
Festo Didactic Learnline system, on the blue plug-in boards or slotted
assembly boards or as a table unit and consists of the following:
• 2 x AS-Interface slimline module S45, digital

The voltage supply must be effected via an external 24 V DC source. The

power supply units from Festo Didactic are suitable for this and are
available in the form of a function card variant for ER cabinet frames or
as a table variant.
4 adapters (Order No. 323571) are required for use on the slotted
assembly board.
The digital inputs and outputs are wired up to a SysLink plug
(IEEE 488). The pin allocation conforms to the SysLink interface of the
Modular Production Systems (MPS) from Festo Didactic.

The slave addresses are preset to 2 and 3. An ASi addressing unit is

required for address change.

Important A maximum of 15 address changes is possible.

7. Notes on safety

The ASi I/O terminal unit is designed to the latest state of the art
technology and is in compliance with recognised safety regulations.
However, if used incorrectly, there is a danger of injury or fatality to the
user or third parties and of damage to the unit. The device should
therefore only be used
• for its intended use in teaching and training establishments
• in absolutely safe condition

Malfunctions which may impair safety should not occur during training
and if so should be rectified immediately.
