Your ticket will not be accepted on board the train if you can only present it as an electronic version (e.g. on a Notebook). When printing the online ticket, please make sure that the images are not suppressed. Please make sure that you have the identification document you stated when buying the ticket (BahnCard, bahn.bonus card, credit card, EC card or ID) with you on board the train even if the document has expired in the meantime. Your ticket is only valid for you personally in combination with your own identification document. Your online ticket is valid only for the section of the journey stated under Fahrkarte at the top of the ticket. The section Ihre Reiseverbindung contains further information about other sections of your journey (e.g. by bus), for which you may need a separate ticket. If your online ticket also states +City or City mobil, you are entitled to use local public transport free of charge from the railway station to your final destination within the city area on the day of your outbound journey, and back to the railway station on the day of your return journey. The online ticket has to be date-stamped by the ticket inspector as validation.
