Theo Degler wurde in München geboren und spielte schon mit 14 Jahren in verschiedenen Bands.

Später erhielt er Unterricht vom bekannten Jazzpianisten Mal Waldron.

Als Komponist arbeitete Theo Degler für zahlreiche Film- und Fernsehproduktionen, wie zum Beispiel

Als Instrumentalist und Arrangeur erhielt er Aufträge für diverse CD- und Fernsehproduktionen. Dazu zählen
